The rot was well and truly set in before Lowe arrived. We all knew months ago that this unbelievable situation of 1 striker(Goodwin) in a squad of 30 was going to be a serious hindrance. The recruitment balloon heads obviously thought differently so we offloaded Stones when keeping him at least gave us an option albeit inexperienced. ….only inexperienced because Maloney gave him no game time to continue his development. I personally dont think Taylor will sign for us…..too many other Efl teams with more ambitions will have been impressed with him. Arguing on Tues with some Maloney cult followers who were staggeringly criticising Lowe. Give me a break !!!!…..This whole squad is a totally unbalanced, a cheap and cheerful, quality less ensemble. I have no confidence that Lowe will be given license to do a full overhaul in the summer…….if not then next season will be a carbon copy of this…….Maloney, Recruitment team,Danson will be totally to blame…….NOT Lowe !!! .

Really ??…is that a serious post.??Our s@@@ squad down to Maloney plus whoever. Constant starting 11 changes….multi unnecessary substitutions. Zero strikers…bogof wingers(all poor). Passing for passing sake mind melting play. Lowe picking up the pieces and trying to manage a generally below league 1 standard group of players. How the hell you can aportion any blame to Lowe is unfathomable. Selective memory……you’ve obviously blocked out all the painful, shotless games we endured under the previous management. All down to Danson…..back him to clear the decks and I’m certain we’ll see a huge improvement in performances and hopefully entertainment…….leave him with Maloneys compost heap squad and even international rescue won’t be able sort us out.!!!

Rankine,Thomas, Hungbo 3 prime examples……lumbered with 2 of them.Cannot beat a man….create zilch. No matter who we had up top their service would be zero. Asamoah similar but at least there’s potential purely because of his pace……but NOT leading the line . How do we offload players still with 2 years to run ?..I’m not sure but somehow it needs to be done…along with several others….a drain on our meagre resources .At least 3 strikers plus Taylor (looking unlikely) he’s been left for months to carry the forwards responsibility totally on his own and I for one surprsed he’s not completely f@@@@@. In a 46 games league 1 season his resilience and work rate would be a huge asset next season .Alas I think a lot of others will have sat up and clocked this. Relegation really is a possibility…….because we just don’t have any goals anywhere in this squad and that’s Not Lowes doing !!!

Maloney recruitment was dire…..not 1 recognised striker….Well sicknote Goodwin apart but managed to sneak yet another useless winger in on deadline day. Lowe left now to polish the inherited turd…..Maloney signed these….lowest scorers in a bang average league and Lowe now having to try Asamoah as a forward. Screaming out for a target man but he offloaded the only 1 we had . Francois.??…Another sick bed player…managed 50 games in 4 seasons…..just what we need!!. Lowe has surely been given assurances regarding recruitment because we need to move at least 7 players to pastures new. Would you really have trusted Maloney/Rioch with any more funds..???…Not a chance. Lowe flogging a dead horse and relegation however unlikely imo would be because of the previous management’s f### ups than his.

Maloney, Rioch and whoever else have left us with the worst, toothless, goaless squad in my 50 years.Bolton as poor a team I’ve seen this season and we created absolutely f%%% all. If Rioch was instrumental in these signings then he needs the door holding ajar and booting through it.Dale,Mellish,Rankine, Sibbick,Asamoah,Silko(Gone),Goodwin,Norbury,Weir,Hungbo…..not a goal in this team .Taylor apart the squad is a shambles. Lowe has mammoth task and a huge(Unlikely) clear out needed. Tonight made my mind up ….2 Season tickets and 2 future funds on hold till I see whether Lowe is being backed by the owner…f### the early bird offers as I’m not willing to watch this excuse for football. Bolton there for the taking but our useless, strikerless team is hopeless. For the “we are safe” supporters ….the gap to 4th bottom is now 5pts as Burton can actually score goals.6 wins in 20 home games!!! .Come on….don’t blame Lowe !!!…..Blame previous management and the joke of a recruitment team. Danson !!!.. This is the end result of a sustainability offensive implemented far too quickly. F …… pitiful!!!!

Cze a big positive…..the rest ???..Roll on seasons end. Simply down to a festering pile of Rhino s@@@ recruitment!!!…J Smith ….is he another 60min Nick Powell???…Wake up to the ” league 1 status looking safe” crew……We are 1pt above 5th bottom. Bolton up soon,Burton on the up coming too……so don’t get to comfy. This squad hasn’t got goals in it,so that buffer could soon be eroded. Lowe really has to free up some space by offloading the s%%%% …..that’s if he has the back financially. This squad is nowhere near good enough…..Danson jr must be on the wacky backy …..top 6 ,FFS!!!!!

Spoke to a member of the coaching staff before kick off…..asked him about Cze…..obviously didn’t go into the personal reasons why he’s been absent but stated with some conviction “the lad seriously is some player”…..he made a difference when he came on ,actually won the ball that eventually led to the goal and dragged the defender out of position several times.. Rather give him a chance with some proper game time than keep doing all the development work for other teams…frankly most who’ve been sub standard. Give the lad a chance…..you know we might had a solution hiding in plain sight.!!!!

Also can’t understand some saying give Whelan till end of season……No,No….never mind the potential relegation fight…..we need someone in ASAP to analyse the shit show of a squad in REAL competitive fixtures, not pre season knock abouts. 10 or 12 games to test some of these recruits, maybe motivate them and then come summer he has a plan as to where we need to be in August. All good and well if he gets full support from the owner and that my friend really is the billion dollar question.

That’s the point I’ve been making to anyone who’d listen. No appointment showing ambition……no season tickets for me and I’d imagine that would apply to a lot of us. If they think waiting till summer after we’ve all early bird renewed then trying to sting us by then announcing Mr Cheap and cheerful then they’d better wake up quickly. The theory about him getting the ground ,any potential Robinson cash then bailing out really is worst case scenario. Be no takers for us then as what would there be to buy ? ..Frightening prospect but I personally don’t think that would really benefit the owner ….having just the slutch rats continually Hemorrhaging cash in a half empty stadium wouldn’t be a sustainable business model…….but then again I certainly wouldn’t dismiss it.!!

Agree with a lot of what’s been posted and it’s dead simple. The players we’ve recruited in general are w###. Whoever was responsible mere mortals
like us won’t find out till some future autobiography.Maloney certainly made his cause impossible with all his dicking around and no settled team.Last night was absolutely dreadful. 4 nil would still have done Mansfield a disservice and they were pants. Silko,Rankine,Norburn,Mellish,Goodwin,Sibbick,Weir,Asamoah, have all looked league 2/National League at best.Jury out on Dale and I’ll be amazed if Taylor even considers signing come summer being weve advertised him to the benefit of Forest. Then there’s Josh Robinson……what the hell was that signing about….when will he be ready???…We are all pissed that we’ve 0 strikers available and no matter what bull story we hear as to why it’s total negligence on behalf of which f####wit oversees recruitment.Remember “no budget for a striker” then sign Asamoah on dead day!!! I don’t agree waiting till end of season for a replacement…..in now….polish the steaming turd…..then give the playing squad an enema. Unfortunately any potential candidate with a modicum of integrity will surely want some cast iron assurances concerning squad investment and I for one think they’ll have more chance trawling up Whelans war chest.

Sad for me cos I really wanted him to succeed. Unfortunately he has at times not helped his cause with some odd team selections, substitutions (Saturday was an example) and definitely some of our recruitment. The last one not down to him alone.I have to agree to some way with McLeans post and I do believe like every other supporter he had his pants pulled down by the hierarchy concerning squad investment. But like Mclean,Whatmough, Keane etc putting their financial security 1st the owner has done the same. The club is bigger and more important than 1 individual and as much as it wasn’t a pleasant thing to have to do unfortunately it was the right decision. Like us all I thank Shaun for everything he did selflessly for the club, players and supporters under impossible circumstances and wish him every success on whatever he does in the future. As for a replacement…….Warne maybe, certainly has a decent lead track record even if allegedly style not his 1st priority. Other than that…not a clue.
