You cant pick the block only the pricing, singing section and level……
I have just got 8 tickets for Singing section. No idea where that is but should be a good laugh.Up the tics.

After all the bull the ticket office gave me about there being big queues before the match, there was only one person in front of us….Also got 3 next 3 home matches for £3. Bargain……….

OK Mr naive….
My father was a season ticket holder for the past 7 pyears, upto this season and due to other commitments, it wasn’t worth renewing this year.
I understand where your coming from with the history paper trail, however if that is your concern then how do you account for the people who are given free tickets through sporting organisations and other out lets, who are able to use the paper tickets on entry and then throw them away?????My thinks you have a bit of the paranoia about you !!!!!!!
P.S I take it you dont have a spare then :D :D :D :D
still no offers people. Good money waiting and a guarantee no problems if its a season ticket. I have a seat near me but its a child ticket so wont need the actual seat

I’m with you guys on this.Great sensible post and well said.
Thank you DW for what you have done and achieved and thank you to Wigan Athletic who over the years have brought many a smile to my face.
Football can be frustating but hey what else is there to do on a Saturday afternoon, (or sunday, monday tuesday ect. :)

nice to remember the old days :)I see from your post that most of the old days although not the best football were still memorable and enjoyable.
You remember the days pre Whelan and yet you still slag the bloke off for what he has done and achieved at this club.I know everyone is entitled to their opinion, but from someone who has seen the past I would have expected more than all this pessimism. We are and always will be Wigan and from what I see you will be there regardless of what league we are in and still enjoying the craic.
Give our boys and the club a chance and lets support them regardless of what happens. The future is change and we can’t do anything about it.
Remember. If they fail and go down, we go down with them. If they win then we enjoy the elation.
But if we get back to playing with style then we will smile win or lose and memories will be made.Come on the blues, for memories to be made.

Don’t take it as a personal swipe, unless your one of the doubters. If you have read Martinez’s book you will see that he hold Wigan football club and the fans in high regard. He was one of the first foreign players to be brought over and started a trend and helped Wigan to great things. He even lived on Poolstock lane, which for footballers with money, it made me smile.
I know everyone works for a living, but given the choice of where you work and what you do, doesn’t always boil down to money.
You must surely see that having an ex player with passion for a club is better than some jonny somebody (BRUCE) coming with a reputation and then when it doesn’t go his was, slag the club off.
All this talk about bringing in quality player. This is Wigan athletic and we should be a club that encourages new talent to come into the prem. Most of the other clubs want to buy ready made players, but how the hell do young footballers get there chance if no one is willing to help them.
We are a club that is nearly running debt free. I was there when as a club we couldn’t afford to pay the players wages, until DW stepped in.

Martinez had the opportunity to join Celtic (or maybe it was another club) but chose Wigan.
I do understand that money does talk but you are a plonker if you think that any manager just does the job for the money.
With your analysis then no one is going to fit the managerial post because they are “only here for the money”.My post wasn’t about whether or not he is a Wiganer, my post is about the fact he is trying to bring a new style of football and all you moaning, doubters should just give him a chance.
Again I say so what if we go down. I was there at springfield park and I will be there after the prem.
I cant say it would be a shock if all you doubting jcl just jump ship to another team thats up and coming.
City is just down the road, so why not go and moan about them instead….Rant over :D
