The more I listen to him, the less I understand him. ( Martinez that is) Remembering the kind of player Graeme Jones was I can’t believe he can have any real enthusiasm for the way we play.
Fulham is another game we should win at home. I’m not at all confident and I really do think Whelan needs to bite the bullet. I don’t really think he’s that interested anymore. I think you are right about Whelan, but surely it must get to the point soon that even Whelan must see the writings on the wall. Fans are going to vote with their feet. It certainly wont be the first time Whelan has backtracked on something he”s said! Maybe Martinez will resign! At any rate we are in free fall. If any other man was in charge, he would have gone by now.
I watched this today, and although defensively we were better we cannot continue playing one up front home and away. Almost every time we play two up front we look much more dangerous.
This is the only thing that kept us up last season. Why can Martinez not start with two instead of throwing someone on when the game is usually lost. It’s just too negative. He likes to play like Barcelona but we don’t have their players. :crying-yellow:Couldn’t agree more. Likes to stick his fingers in too many pies. Needs to address matters much closer to home!
