I’m not wishing Bradford good luck in the next round they fekin robbed us of a result tonight,

I can’t believe you have said that, City played with a near reserve side like you did, One of our players has only ever made a sub appearance for us last season, and for as being robbed, no such thing, it was 11 men v 11 men, City players didn’t miss your chances, your Wigan players did, We came with a game plan of trying to contain you and it worked.
For what its worth I agree with you mate.

Whatever the statistics say the matter of fact is you did what you came to do.

Congratulations and good luck for the next round.
I am surprised that the club didn’t take those predicted tactics into consideration and the high possibility of a penalty shoot-out. What advantage did we have choosing the empty end to take the pens ? It was same for both sides !
Empty stand or 5,000 screaming Bradford fans.

I know which I would rather take a penalty in front of :)

Now come on lad if you are a genuine football person are you telling me that if your team batter say dag and red and lose to a last minute goal you won’t feel robbed. Your game plan didn’t include getting the run around and the oposition having 5 or 6 sitters. Sorry but you did “Rob’ us but your in the hat we are not. The team put out by Wigan has wound up some of our CL friends but not me. It still looked 4 divs above a poor Bradford team but failed to take any of its chances. I usually am one for being wound up if oposing managers don’t give us credit when we’ve beaten his team but a reality check is needed here, on the balance of play did you deserve to win. ?
Goals win games JR simple as.

If we dont score them we dont deserve to win.

I know where your coming from but Bradford cant shoulder the blame for us not finishing a bag full of chances.

As far as they are concerned it is job done no matter how long they were under the kosh for.

Salford still cant help himself ,pointless posting on here.Would he insult these posters face to face …..Nah !…just keep tapping .

goodpost Well done son you’re really proving me wrong…

Lets get this straight I will meet you or anyone else on here any time any place.

Now before this gets out of hand again as it has done in the past I will make myself perfectly clear on this point.

This is not a threat of violence in any way shape or form

But if you think I am the type of person who wont come and tell you exactly what I tell you on here because I am not behind the safety of a computer screen you have got me completely wrong pal.

Stop being such a girl and taking things so personal.

Now I would like to draw a line under it as I cant be arsed with another long winded spat as I usually find myself in.

Feel free to post back but dont expect a response.

And if you want to meet up for a pint I will gladly buy you one in return for your interesting explanation of what the second string losing in a cup has to do with the first team getting relegated from the PL so rather than bore everyone else with this drop me a PM and we will make the necessary arrangements.

Wow, a few negative comments and the ‘How dare you say anything negative about Latics’ brigade come out in force. I didn’t realise that it was against the law to do such a crime. It’s ok for Martinez to be negative with his team selection but how dare the fans say anything about it when it’s all done against a Bradford second string., When they have played well, won well, scored well i congratulate them. When they have been shit i will say they have been shit. I think im going to switch boards, The ‘shove it up Wigan’s arse’ brigade are impossible to talk with. One sided and one dimensional views all the time. I will just pop on for the prediction league.

    Laters

Come on Yosser no need to take your toys in.

I am all for different views, debate and everything else that goes with coming on a football message board.

But quite frankly if someone nails us on for relegation after the second string team lose in a different competition then I think it is in the spirit of the above to call someone out and ask them what they are basing such rash comments on.

It gives me great satisfaction when that person starts crying like a little girl because they have been called a cretin in what was clearly said in jest and whining they can’t have an opinion because someone has asked the reasoning behind it…

Classic signs of an argument that has been lost before it begun.

Positive things happen to positive people ;)

Tell that to the soldiers with limbs missing, Or families devastated with cancer.

Didn’t mean that flippantly, Just sayin ;)

EDIT:- Or honest, skilled workers who keep losing their job due to industry cuts
Not quite in the same context as the point I was making …

Taking into account all the above some people can get so over dramatic about a game of football its unreal.

A little perspective says we should be very thankful for what we have as a club and not spit our dummies out at every opportunity.

Some people will just not hear a bad word against Latics because they went to Netherfield in 1764, Some people just cannot debate because they just see the good in everything blue and white. Life must be a breeze.

Positive things happen to positive people ;)

e.g. Last season when the same people on here were prematurely writing us off.

Wasn’t long ago people were shouting for Macmanaman and Bosselli to be starting in PL.

in reply to: Get shut of Bob tonight #95931

Nobody in their right mind would of put a stronger team than that out tonight.

in reply to: Glad I Stopped At Home !! #95929

Couldn’t be less arsed if I tried.

Actually a bit happy for them as reminds me of when we got through to the quaters in old div 2.

Oh no were in the bottom 6 and I haven’t even bought a Christmas present yet.

    Hardly doomed are we?

You piss and moan about Robertos management yet you expect so much from him.

I’ll take a 2-1 win against west ham and a fully fit first team over progression in a cup that is quite frankly bottom of our priorities any day of the week.

in reply to: Glad I Stopped At Home !! #95920
Still think we’ll be in relegation struggle but hoping it would be tempered by a cup run.

Relegation battle ? Based on what?

in reply to: Glad I Stopped At Home !! #95918

The reserves lose on penalties and all the cretins come out of the wood work…

are you lot running out of things to moan about?

Write a letter to the council or something ffs.

Come back from a night out once and decided to throw together a Crisp, Chips and Tommy K sandwich ….

    It was fantastic.

Not sure how much that had to do with the skin full I had put away though…
