Do you mean Beckham the tax exile

Didnt exactly see Pearce flying all over the world campaigning for the games to come to London no that would have been Beckham anyway I was behind the goals when he netted against Greece so he still is in credit as far as im concerned
Should we pick Borris Johnson in goals then as he flew all over the world to get the games?
Cracking idea!!

And David Cameron up front with Nick Clegg playing just behind him …

Fergie saw right through Brand Beckham and it would appear that there are no flies on SP either !

At the end of the day fil its all bollox anyway the Olympics were always the amateur games till the Yanks started putting the dream team in and the Ruskies similar with hockey. It was much better before professionals were allowed to compete.Who picked Pearce anyway? surely all the home F A,s should have been involved.
I don’t think professional footballers should play in the Olympics !
I agree then we can all go back to not giving two flyers about it!

He could score a Basket full of goals if he stays next season

Most people on here won’t get that as they can’t reed between the lines.
I did offer to do an article to teach people the way of the pun.

But I think that idea went down the river…

He must be chuffed to have signed his pro contract and be earning some decent money.

They only pay the academy players Won Ton a week.

What happened to that young Ghana lad we were meant to be signing?

And can you count Chow as an incoming player for this season?

Answers on a postcard Donnelly chop chop.

Targeted advertising…. its all very exciting.

Think facebook started the idea that adverts could be tailor made to be as accurate as possible with a target audience.

Google-ads using your browsing history might pop up an ad about a place you have been looking at on laterooms or items you have been looking at on ebay.

Facebook advertising you can put in for example “prawn sandwidges” and target everyones facebook who have talked about or visted pages to do with prawn sandwidges. Your ad will then appear on the site when they log in.

I was eating alot of chicken recently to gain extra muscle at the gym and told my friend a plan through a comment to which a second later protein shake adverts popped up on the right of my screen.

While it may make people a bit nervous that the information they incorrectly thought was private through facebook is being used to traget them for different advertising campaigns I am in absolute awe at facebook for turning a simple social networking site into what could quite possibly be the biggest advertising agency in the world at some point..

Bono was obviously chuffed to bits.

in reply to: New Banner Needed? #89940

I’m quite fond of the banner as it seems Martinez has stabbed his fingers into Rodallega’s ribcage who understandably does not seem too happy about it… while Ali seems to be very happy about it.

Be glad to see the back of him.

I heard when he found out he was not to be offered a new deal he started acting like a right jelly baby.

Hmm – and I wonder what these newly accepted fans will do if we also go the same route as Blackburn next season, or if they come back up?

Let’s worry about that if/when it happens.

Let’s welcome them with open arms at the moment.
Well said goodpost

If that video is anything to go by he looks good.

I think in all fairness the RB/RWB has been a position that Martinez has been trying to strengthen for a while and now Ronnie Stam was intended to be Boyce’s immediate replacement.

I think it is testament to Boyce’s character than not only has he kept his position but also took to the RWB position like a duck to water.

If this guy grows a pair and becomes the RWB Wigan Athletic’s own Mr Dependable could find himself as back up for RWB and the 3 CB positions.

We should be embarrassed at our youth policy not even getting a player close to this squad.

I dont think our youth policy has anything to be “embarrassed” about on the back of one of our products going to Euro 2012.

Nicholl’s and McManaman were possibly in with a shout but a long one at that.

really surprised when i logged on that there was no innuendo’s about us being linked with him…

I know you what you mean, something smells a bit fishy…
