I don’t think there were, but go on, you keep making things up.

My opinion, PRICK! (small one  )

Name the people on here who said we would be a top ten side.
Did Bob not mention a top 10 finish after the 3rd transfer window :P
He mentioned that it is the next stage in the clubs aims.. to establish ourselves as a premier league club finishing in the top 10.

But the best young manager in Europe does not have the time to pot around on here ;)

Wonder if im still kicking next doors cat and slating all things spanish by the time wolves rock up

On the bright side, Next door are getting a dog….

I’ll only condone that sort of behaviour if the cat in question actually turns out to be George Galloway.

    Meeeow!
That was seriously messed up!

Always had a good crack with Newcastle fans lingering around Wigan on their previous visits…

Hopefully there will be no bitterness due to being misinformed by their own manager.

Ha ha LmB the mon with a dodgy internet connection when the team is winning and surprisingly fixes itself upon a defeat you sir are grade a knobyed

I think you may find if you care to look back my first posts were about, 3/4th april when I came back off holiday- and that was before any games had been lost.
Reading your current posts are tedious enough without trawling back….

You have a pop at 33’s opinions and then come on another thread turning the subject over to yourself!

    Nobody cares.

I think Villa will just about be safe come the end of the season with us staying up via a Wolves win.

Speaking to a mate of mine who watched La Liga last night and one of the commentators let slip about him going to Villareal at the end of the season. Just wondering if anyone else heard it, and if anyone thinks the rumour may be true. I have heard mention that Bob may not stay beyond this season but I understood he had signed an extension to his contract.

I dont know what is harder to beleive…

That this commentator would some how be in the loop between Villareal and Martinez or that hinders has a friend.
Being in Spain and commentating I would imagine that he would hear things, rumours regarding certain individuals. He mentioned it last night then apologised that he shouldn’t have shared that information. All I asked was had anyone else heard it and would they think it could be true.
Quite a simple thread I thought but obviously Salford not simple enough for you, and regarding friends I have plenty.

Not so sure you’ll be able to say the same ;)
I guess speculation about your future is all part and parcel of being the best young manager in europe ;)

Would not begrudge him if he went.

He would leave us in a far better position than any of our previous managers even if we went down.

Previously nobody was able to answer who they would like to replace him when calling for a change!

Any thoughts on that now? I know it probably hurts trying to get the old organ grinder going….

If I had to pick a name now I would say Mick McCarthy.

He is a bit of a wolly at times and by no means a tactical genius but his teams usually show alot of passion.

“While the UK’s four largest internet service providers – BT, Sky Broadband, Virgin Media and TalkTalk – agreed last year to work with the Government on introducing filters and a mandatory opt-in to adult content, only TalkTalk has so far formally announced its plans to force its customers to choose whether or not they would like access to online pornography. Since the measure was introduced last month, TalkTalk reports that one in three of its new customers have opted to keep pornographic content blocked on their accounts.”

Cheers for editing that in afterwards.

I couldnt be arsed reading any of the articles or half of what you have written…

Or your 15 minutes of fame on the podcast :cheer:

but let me refer you to part of the above statement you so kindly provided.

“only TalkTalk has so far formally announced its plans to force its customers to choose whether or not they would like access to online pornography.”

First its the Goverments fault, then its Sky/BT (BT probably provides the phoneline mongoid) and now its only TalkTalk doing it.

    EYYYYYYY???? GOVERNMENTTT????? SPEAK UPPPP………

in reply to: Lightsiders ,counting chickens… #85809

No I am calling YOU a liar!

Thats not a government demand is it?

    So stop talking bollocks.

You question my intelligence yet it takes you weeks to get a simple internet filter sorted with your ISP.

I was bypassing my highschool internet filter with a web access gateway before you had figured out how to turn on a computer old man ;)

Calculators had not been invented when you were in school

Perhaps you should find out what a web access gateway is before digging this hole deeper and ending up in a country that actually does have a government implimented web filter.

I dont know what a web access gateway or how one works, let alone how to bypass one, but my parents did not know what this new metric system was, or their parents how tune into a TV station so what is your point, i would suggest most on here would not know that information.

I tend to accept rightly or wrongly what technicians from BT and Sky have been telling me and when they told me it was now working and why it wasnt in the first place I also just accepted that as well, as far as the adult content filter is concerned I didnt know anything whatsoever about that until they told me on 10th of april(when everything worked again.
What they could not understand and what threw the the technical teams off the scent was the sites I couldnt gain access to was this one , a fishing site(talk angling) and a sporting shooting site(gun trader) hardly adult risk, it is usually to stop children getting on gay porn sites, which is why i presssume is the reason you need your web access gateway.

Because I didnt know anything about the filter or indeed whether or not BT/Sky were not being entirely honest with me, or indeed I lived in another country as you claim, I have done a “google” check (something you yourself suggest I do on another thread – perhaps you should heed your own advice now and again), look at what I turned up just for starters, but you being such an expert in “internet journalism” may deny this and call them liars along with Greg Farrimond, Wigan Evening Post, Manchester Evening News and some dodgy Nigerian News agency – oh and Tony Finnigan, Moses and Martinez as well.

I may be getting on a bit compared to you but, as again for some unknown reason you feel the need to point out more than once, but the indication of Early-onset Alzheimer’s disease has not effected me like it seems to have with you, may I suggest you get it checked out by your GP sooner rather than later.
I feel sorry for the technician speaking to you.

He probably slowly and painfully gathered you’re an idiot and fed you the “its the government’s fault” line which you gobbled up.

Thank you for the articles confirming that there is no filter in place and that it is a widely rejected prospect thus AGAIN confirming how stupid you are.

Is it not time for your afternoon nap.

I think it is for mine after reading your dribble Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
What part of “THERE IS A FILTER IN PLACE FOR NEW CUSTOMERS” DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND agreed by the main providers, they are fighting its total implementation at the moment do me a favour and ring your provider and ask – as your OPINION is getting in the way of FACTS
That dimensia is worse than I first thought you seem ever so confused.
You’re the one who cannot remember what you said you retard!

Sky may very well have a filter – that has nothing to do with the government!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is not a conspiracy to keep you from spouting your constant dribble althought I wish it was!!!!

    Old people are hard work!

P.S I wasnt expecting you to admit you are completely wrong.

We already know you’re too much of a stubborn old fool to do that.

Was talk of him going straight out on loan to Scunthorpe.

    The future is bright.

I see LMB was quick to jump in with the comment “Fulham are a better team than Liverpool at the moment”. Why not go the whole hog and say “Latics are a better team than Liverpool at the moment” as well.

I can’t fucking win with morons like you can I, griff who argues with anything I say for the sake of it with nasty personal comments included, the pillock from salford who doesnt even know what his own mind is during his attacks and now you.

I was replying to what brownbill said by saying the reason we lost yesterday was perhaps because we were up against a PRETTY GOOD SIDE, when he had asked how we beat good teams and couldnt beat a “lesser” one, I dont think we are a better team than liverpool but I also dont think we are worse than any most of the others.

I have been nothing only positive about the way we have played for quite a while and regularly expressed this view on other sites, the reason I havent on here is 2 fold – the first being until the week after easter my internet provider blocked my access to some sites including this one(apparently an adult content filter kicks in if you change service provider at the moment,a goverment demand, and you have to ask for it to be removed , they don’t automatically do it, and for some reason CL was included in this adult content), the second one is I just can’t be bothered with the shit anymore.
You obviously throw insults around as much as anyone so you can wipe away the tears…

Internet filters? unless you live in China this is news to me…

Lets face it the one reason you didnt come to express your praise for Roberto Martinez masterclass in football management is because you were emabarresed about being proven completely wrong.

At least the likes of Wiganmon and Filmoss did not disappear and allow themselves to enjoy the moment not hiding away behind the poorest excuse since George Michael said he was looking for his lottery ticket.

And less of the swearing not everyone on this board is ancient like you.
Blooming heck now your telling me both BT/Sky Broadband are liars and ar4e telling me lies to prove your OPINION AGAIN – you clueless fool take a look at this

BT has been offering the system – known as Active Choice – to new customers since January and told the BBC it had also written to existing customers reminding them that parental control software is free.

TalkTalk is the only major UK ISP to have implemented a network level filtering system which offers parental controls for all devices that are connected via the home broadband service.

it is an extract from this

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-17754605

The BBC is another set of media liars in your world as well as the MEN and the Evening Post, what that article doesn’t tell you is new customers have to opt into recieving adult content not opt out and the service providers dont tell you one way or another.

You really are not very intelligent are you.
No I am calling YOU a liar!

Thats not a government demand is it?

NOW YOU ARE REALLY SHOWING WHAT A FOOL YOU REALLY ARE.

I’m sorry for not being able to access the servers of multi national companies like Sky or BT, one good thing with my lack of computer knowledge – the US justice department will never be seeking my extradition for hacking into there national data bases.
Perhaps you should find out what a web access gateway is before digging this hole deeper and ending up in a country that actually does have a government implimented web filter.

in reply to: Victor Moses #85793

And it does not matter if I think they are dodgy or not when all they are doing is recycling an internet rumour. Or are you going to tell me they took the time to confirm with the agent, club and player? NO

    It’s called lazy journalism.

Is that fact or your biased opinion ?

If you want the true facts you prick send an email to Greg Farrimond and ask the truth – i’m sure he will love a nomark like you questioning his work ethic.
I have no need to.

I have a slight understanding of “Internet Journalism”.

You clearly are not grasping it AT ALL.

Anyway calm down, this cant be good for your ticker old fella.
Perhaps you should try and find out who Greg Farrimond is and why I quoted what i did before making a complete fool of yourself again.
Try? have you heard of Google?

You are the only one making a fool of yourself by continually demonstrating how thick you are.

Dont they do free courses for OAP’s on how to use the internet?

    You should go.
