It’s the beaches and cheap sangria that attracts them.
Yep. I was there too and back that up.
Embarrassing.
The Woolwich bit is where they were based. Arsenal refers to the munitions works. So they are now named after a type of factory, not a place.
Have to go just to hear the Leigh announcer trying to say:
“Number 32 – Theodoros Papoutsogiannopoulos”But Ashton Town’s not that far away? ;)

Fills you with confidence, doesn’t it?
The club have no say about road signage, and at a time when they are looking to deal with the admin of bringing new players in, balancing the books across the board with a lower income, being prepared for a new season which will include European trips, I think whether there are a few road signs around is low on the club’s priority list to press, even if they did have any influence.
Yes, we know the Council has not had a good word to say for years and suddenly became Latics supporters overnight, but I’d chill about it.
People round the world know we won the FA Cup. If the Council can’t see they could still get a bit of kudos from it then they need a talking to. Some of heh Councillors will be actual Latics supporters – write to them and get them on board.

That’s what I sing.
It’s only a few who insist on “You’ll never notice..”
“You are my Solskjaer” is their version
I don’t think United stole YAMS to be honest.
It was just one of those songs that suited football, so was adopted by a few.
Why should we worry what’s on Sky?
The Roberto way is an acquired taste, that’s for sure.
I’ll be as fascinated to see Everton play that way as I was to see us try it.
I fear he make not get the tenure he did with us, I just can’t see Everton fans being as patient as Wigan fans were with him.[/quote]
The only thing is that I think the players he now has may be quicker to learn what the actual idea is. Ours took quite some time before the penny dropped (and in some cases never did).
