I think some players need to keep a bit of an eye on the fact that one relegation on your CV happens. Two in successive seasons with different clubs can be viewed as a habit.
They do need to think who they are signing for if they decide to leave.

Wigan Athletic’s Ivory Coast international Arouna Kone has this week set up an office at Ashton Town, as a base for his Arouna Kone Foundation.
The foundation, which was set up in 2007, aims to build a hospital and a doctor’s surgery in his home district of Abobo, back in the Ivory Coast.
The FA Cup winner was a guest at the club during the end of season presentation evening, and this deal will see Arouna and his team down at the club on a regular basis.
Now I know that being at Everton isn’t too far away, but maybe, just maybe, news of his departure is premature.

That was the thing. Allegedly a real hard case – known in Italy as “The Animal” – and we thought we’d got a bruiser who could add a bit of fight but he didn’t seem to like the English Third Division :cheer:
Don’t remember Bruno though.Not many people did. He played 45 minutes v Grimsby and rumour has it refused to come out second half. Never seen again.
Maybe that should be the new test – instead of “did you go to Goole Town away?”, we could have “did you see Pasquale Bruno play?” :P

Worst signing in my memory though has to be Pasquale Bruno – lot of hype and then 45 minutes of garbage :P
