I may finally see my beloved Latics play at Accrington one of the very few grounds I’ve not seen us play at.

No guarantee it will be away :(

I wouldn’t worry about the ones on here Bullit. The ones on here have one thing in common despite their diverse opinions. The ones on here have blue blood (some mixed with cherry) running through their veins and the ones on here will be there in August and will be there next August whatever league position we finish.
I would worry about the supporters who will not be there, the ones we have gathered whilst times have been good but who are gradually dwindling away.
These are the ones who will dictate our position in the league. You, me, Horc, Lostock, Nuneaton,Sammy,Filmoss, Garswood,JR, Leyland, Eggy, Standish etc etc will still part with our hard earned money wherever Latics are.

That reminds me. Not renewed yet!!!
But we all know you will. That’s the point.
Some of us do without pondering it.
Without throwing a hissy fit of “I’m not going again”.
You are one of us. :)

Hendry 22, Baxendale and Lingard both 19 left today. Hendry to Dundee the others to Nantwich.

The fact that they have gone to Nantwich I think says it all.
And Dundee are at best equivalent to League One – and after last night’s Rangers result the position of Scottish football is even more devalued.

Have we ever had a worse kit supplier than Krappa?. Even Matchwinner provided better looking kits.

Don’t shoot me, but I like the Kappa kits.

And when we were in Gran Canaria last month, a few people commented on how they liked the shirts my boys were wearing, and thought they were European teams at first – only to discover on closer inspection they were lowly old Wigan.
They are a European team kit, won’t be for much longer though! :woohoo:
We’re not leaving Europe!!It’s only the EU we’re leaving.

We’ll still be part of Europe, it’s just that your future holidays to Spain will be more expensive and you’ll not be able to afford anything when you get there!
… and the amount of booze and fags you bring back will be severely limited

There’s enough smart arses use this site, I’m sure one of them can set it up for you. Personally anything more than copying and posting and I’m stumped.

I’m sure Jr will help out. I have put a poll or two on in the past but I can’t remember how.
All it did when I tried was to apply it was list all the heading as if I had just typed them.
Never done one afore, just tried and could only select 4 choices and then they didn’t show when I previewed. :(
I’ve just had a look and 4 is the maximum number of options

Haha!
I’m only going on the description and just wondering if anyone else can come up with suggestions.

“The brand-new design will feature two thick blue and white stripes with a thin blue pin stripe down the centre, alongside a plain white back.”

I’ve mocked this up from the description – anyone any other suggestions?

By the way I have absolutely no other information other than what’s in the official site.

Actually 4-4-2 developed from 4-3-3, and before that (in the 50s and the time of the great Hungarian team) was WM formation – 3-2-2-3, with the front middle 2 being overlapping wingers.
Before that there were always 3 at the back (number 5 being a stopper centre half) from 1921 when the offside law was changed from requiring 3 defenders to the current 2, meaning the defending team need someone else at the back.
So there wasn’t a change overnight from 2-3-5 to 4-4-2.

On the goalkeeper front. If we are so keen on the lad from Brighton, shouldn’t we be tying up the deal so he can be involved in this bonding shindig let him get to know everyone.

Maybe they are. Behind the scenes.
In these days of social media everyone seems expect everything to be announced on Twitter or social media as a running discourse.
Life, outside of Donald Trump’s universe, doesn’t work like that.

“that ignorant bigoted IRA and Hamas supporter”
As opposed to May who wants an alliance, an actual political alliance, with ignorant bigoted UVF, anti-gay marriage, climate change deniers, people who believe the Earth is 6000 years old, anti-women’s rights, with leaders who have been pictured with an AK47 rifle and loyalist military uniform?
That Jeremy Corbyn, who opposes that?
