Lowe has had a hell of a lot more backing than Maloney and is managing us in far less troublesome conditions.
After exactly the same amount of games in charge they have identical points gained. Bare in mind that Maloney managed the back end of relegation from the championship.
At the same point in the season as last season we are worse off points wise. Bare in mind that we didn’t score a goal from open play till match 5 last season and yet we still had more points
Difficult to win games if you are behind all the time.
If only we had a manager who could keep clean sheets
Thought it was harsh as well but shouldn’t have been an issue.
I reckon we have at least 22 players (probably 26 players) who want to be in the first team. How have we been turned over by Salford and a kids team. It’s not a massive deal in the grand scheme of things but I still think it was embarrassing
Wright couldn’t play Saturday because Plymouth are his parent club
Trevitt is injured
Refs are embarrassing themselves if they give one penalty a game for a foul at a corner. The same antics are going on at EVERY corner.
I think Costelloe and Adeeko have paid the price after Lowe said some players weren’t doing what was asked of them.
That one away win was when he was sat in the stands serving his ban
100% Cupwinners
Its even ok to stick to your guns at the start and try your usual formation and try not to worry about the opposition but it was clear very early on that it was so easy to get behind us. He should have changed the formation 10 or 15 mins in.
It’s great how he’s changed us at home especially against the poorer sides that Maloney could never break down. But he’s getting it wrong away from home. He doesn’t have to be so open when we go to decent teams away. There is a lot of quality in our team going forward so set up the defence more solidly away from home.
And playing Notlob isn’t “just another game”. It’s like he turns into Evatt when it comes to the derby day
Still haven’t won an away game with Lowe on the touchline
You say Maloneys’s left us with the shitest team, but has he really?
This is a team of players who’s played this season
Tickle
Carragher/Sessegnon
Hughes
Kerr/Aimson
ChambersMatt Smith
Francois
Jonny Smith
Jordan JonesAasgaard
TaylorCrippled by sales and injuries from getting this team on the pitch
I’d say this team would of challenged for play offs
Let’s be clear, Lang and Aasgaard “jumped ship” because of money. Fuck all to do with “showcasing their real talents”
“Feels like football again” – Really? It’s shit long ball crap and boring as fuck.
He’d better have the same success as Leam had in league one or else it won’t take long for you lot to turn on this manager like you have done with all the previous managers
Our defense is immense. Luke Robinson finally fulfilling the potential he showed in admin season.
Can’t score for toffee though. Our decision making is pish
For a 0-0 though I enjoyed it. Players left nothing out there.
The Mrs and kids went. At least the weather was nice.
I watched on telly. Did anyone else pick up on what Sess said on co commentary right at the start? I’m sure he said he has been fit for weeks but can’t get in the team!!
And why are none of the reporters asking why Chambers isn’t playing?
Something not right
Big point and Burton lost is all I can say remotely positive.
Nothing further to add to what I’ve already said
I’ve bookmarked this post ready for when you all turn on Lowe for “playing hoofball”
