Read your comments on Saturdays game Vat. Can’t seem to find your comments on Wednesdays game 🤷‍♂️

Well that was a turn up for the books!!! If the muppets can’t put it in from a yard then just smash it in from 25 yards x3

Really enjoyed tonight even though the ref was a complete tosser

You’re right about 3 at the back. Caldwell as obsessed with it as Lowe. No change ever to a back 4 even when the game is drifting. I’d like to see a spell of Murray actually playing as a winger rather than a wing back

Mellish and Fox to go and free up wages. I think Carra will go before the end of the window as they’ll want a fee for him since it’s his final year

It’s same old same old. We’ll persevere with Costelloe and Perkins and then Saydee will come in and they’ll continue to be shit. Sze played his 50th game today!!!

FFS try someone else from the bench for a change. Give Moseley a chance to put the ball in the net

                Keeper is woeful

                Mellish is a pub player

So frustrating for the rest of the players when they’re doing ok only to concede the goals we do. It’s a totally different game at 0-0 as opposed to 0-1 to a Wellens team

Bizarrely after all the talk about a lack of goals in the team – I think we have goals in the team

Can we keep goals out though?! Jury is out on the keeper and if Fox and Mellish are starters than I’m worried

I’m not sure how they are doing it and I have no doubt they will be doing it wrongly, but the loyalty points are over a 2 year rolling period.

Since this is now the 3rd season of loyalty points then points are going to come off as well as go on

I hope he starts Moseley on Tuesday and he bags a couple and makes it impossible to ignore him

                        I suspect he won’t though ☹️

Finished with a back 3 of Fox (a left back), Mellish (a midfielder or left back) and Weir (midfielder) and it showed. Along with a keeper who I’m not convinced about we looked vulnerable throughout.

Murray is hopeless in his own half, can’t mark or defend for toffee. Not convinced with Barrett yet either but early days.

I thought Power moved the ball forward to the front 3 quite well, but that front 3 wasn’t good enough yesterday.

Still don’t feel like the season will be as bad as many think it will be. Burns and Carra in as natural centre backs will help. Higgins and Walsh (hopefully) will create more.

Personally I’d try and offload Fox and Mellish and free up some more decent wages. They aren’t good enough

Maloney was sacked because, in Gregor Rioch’s words, “He wasn’t giving one of our best players, Jonny Smith, 90 minutes”. I bet he’s not played 90 minutes for us since Maloney was sacked

I know Smith isn’t a world beater but he has pace and he has a trademark finish. This current team is desperate for pace and can’t score a goal for toffee

The Adam Moseley situation puzzles me. You’re wrong about him playing against Port Vale Cup Winners, he was the only player who didn’t get a game off the bench. Got to be worth a try surely

Maloney doing what Maloney does and helping turn a rabble of a dressing room into a unified dressing room. So good to see him smiling without the weight of the world on his shoulders

Good job Tickle’s “heart wasn’t in it” again tonight!!

Some people don’t half talk some drivel on here. 5 clean sheets in 6 home games since Caldwell took over

4 home games, 3 clean sheets. I love to see Aimson and Kerr doing what they’re good at…..defending instead of Aimson being asked by Lowe to practically play winger

Weir and Vickers were outstanding and linked up brilliantly first half. I think the only misplaced pass from Weir was the very weird kick off

Taylor’s ability to run at goal at pace is proper football and great to watch

My MOM was the young boy Chapman though. He’s stood up strong against some seasoned pros but what I like most is he gets the ball and his first thought is always to go forward instead of being safe and going back to Tickle

Nice to enjoy a Saturday with a decent game and a win behind you
