After a very poor showing by Derby County (2003) which I think suprised most posters, lets hope the Birmingham City fans turn up for this one and swell the attendance a bit.
The last Saturday before Christmas is notoriously bad for attendances but lets have a go anyway.
I’ll get the ball rolling this week with a prediction of – 12,721Match 12 Saturday 22nd December Birmingham City 3.00pm Kick Off.
4 predictions so far –
donnyspage – 12876
Horc – 12721
filmoss – 10985
Nuneatonlatic – 10879Brum have sold out their allocation of 4,600, so you need to think about this. Wish I;d been around at the beginning to join in.

Would have preferred for it to have been away, but a decent draw for both teams.

They spend so much trying to get there and in the end it is the fans that suffer, Leeds is a prime example, ripping their fans off to try and get back to the greed league.

He was a superb player and always enjoyed watching him. If I remember right he had a serious alcohol and gambling problem, Alex Cribley helped him out of it.

Just over 60’000 on for tonight’s England qualifier at Wembley, Played in London with nearly 8 million people living there and they can only manage 60’000 FFS!Play the game at old Trafford and you’ll have more on and an atmosphere thrown in for free.
8 Million live in London, but not all are English.
The best atmosphere I have ever had at an International game was at Old Trafford when we played Greece. Wembley being rebuilt and the England Team touring around the UK was the best thing that ever happened to the International game here.
It is no co-incidence that the National Support has dwindled now it is 100% back in the Capital, crap crowds that are there on cheap tickets watching some not so terrific players scrape wins and draws, plus not making much noise in the process.
A midweek game that only those that are close to London can watch. Play them at Manchester’s Stadiums, Newcastle, Liverpool etc and the crowds will come and support them, plus make noise which I think contributes to the team playing better.
Stuff Wembley and paying off the debt, get Spurs to do that whilst they are lodging there.Away a lot, but always watching
