Anybody won it wearing all black ABL?
To be honest, I’m not too sure.
All black kits, or even all black shirts are a pretty modern thing. Until recently, black kits were for referees and officials.
GARSWOODLATIC, can you think of anybody wearing an all black kit in the cup final? I’m struggling to think of anybody. My mind is telling me Everton wore one in the 30s but where that little nugget has come from, I have no idea. Certainly, I think of all the post war finals and I can’t think of any.
Will we be the first to do so?[/quote]

Dave, I’ll back you up on this. I started school in 1974 and was still getting milk when I got to juniors in 1977. I remember this because I was Milk Monitor. So she put you out of work at a early age as well the bitch
isn’t google great from the telegraph
Harold Wilson’s Labour government stopped free milk for secondary school pupils in 1968 and then in 1971, Lady Thatcher, who was education secretary under Sir Edward Heath, ended free school milk for children over the age of seven.
Although the move gave her the nickname “Thatcher, Thatcher, milk-snatcher” and cemented the public view that she would ruthlessly cut spending, documents released recently suggest she had actually fought to save the grants. She was overruled by Sir Edward.
Despite the cuts many LEAs continued to provide free milk and in 1977 the EEC School Milk Subsidy Scheme was introduced to allow them to claim extra funding for secondary and primary milk sales
In 1978, further concessions to the Left were made and free milk was provided for children between seven and 12 from families dependent upon Income Support.
The 1980 Education Act added a further £25 million in EEC subsidies to LEAs to help subsidise milk in schools although six years later as part of an amendment they were told it could only apply to the very lowest income families.
In the 1995 Budget there were yet further cuts when the Conservative government withdrew even more subsidies.
Recently milk’s image as a naturally healthy food has come under attack. The Vegetarian and Vegan Foundation claimed it was not as healthy as alternatives and heart charities suggested it contributed to childhood obesity.
However, along with water, milk is the only drink that dentists recommend for regular consumption by children. -
