An extra 1100 tickets have been made available for the Man Ure game if anyone’s interested.
Good luck!
Fuck the EFL
19 January 2017 at 3:35 pm #154352Been trying since 9 , got kicked off the phone 3 times and online saying none available .. as per usual Latics can’t organise a pish up in a brewery
19 January 2017 at 3:42 pm #154353I got those messages too, so went up to ground.
Queued about 45 minutes, and when I got to the window thet had sold the original 1,900 but they were awaiting arrival of the second batch of tickets. I’ve paid for the tickets I want, and have a receipt. They will be sent out to me (just the same as if I’d got through on the phone).
Looks like the second batch are going fast as there was still a reasonable queue behind me.19 January 2017 at 3:59 pm #154354Anonymous

19 January 2017 at 4:13 pm #154355Everyone at the club is doing all they can the problem lies with the agents selling the tickets their the numpties not the staff at Wigan.
19 January 2017 at 4:14 pm #154356I thought that for cup games the allocation was much greater so why originally 1900?
19 January 2017 at 4:25 pm #154357Now sold out even the extra 1100 and their not getting any more wankers, spent 3 hrs on the phone to be booted 4 times while at position 1 . ALso, 2 per season ticket ? is not possible online you need to allocate a client code for each ticket.
If anyone has 4 tickets going for 4 season ticket holders please let us know, 2 x 2 sat together or all 4 together. As per usual Latics decide not to take their full allocation and then hand out 2 per season ticket holders and only take 3000 tickets well done Latics
19 January 2017 at 4:35 pm #154358The club should do something about tickets online as the system struggles every time there is high demand.
Didn’t risk the phone or website and went down and bought no trouble. They opened at 8.30am as well which was a bonus.19 January 2017 at 5:04 pm #154360The club under estimate the loyalty of their fans once again which for me is a joke. Even non league clubs would ask for and take over 5000 to United. We do it everytime, scrambling for tickets, can’t cope.
We should have asked for a minimum of 5000 then 1 per season ticket holder. Online you had to allocate a client code for each ticket but on the phone you didn’t need.Once again Latics have no faith in their fans travelling in numbers just like they shit their pants at Wembley thinking we wouldn’t turn up

It’s difficult to criticize the club after what they’ve just done for us. But I agree with you, Initial allocation of 1900 was a very small amount of tickets for this match?
Ticket office had to publicly remind people this morning that you couldn’t buy tickets for people without a purchase history….. Tells you a few Wigan mancs were trying to buy tickets for this match!!
19 January 2017 at 5:47 pm #154363At £46-00 a ticket the loyalty of fans would have been tested. At that price 1900 might have been ambitious.
No critism at all can go to the club who made it possible for more to go.
Only 3500 showed loyalty for the Forest game at a tenner.19 January 2017 at 5:51 pm #154364Got mine.
Two per ST seemed strange but at least you needed a booking history.
You can never judge with Wiganers. You expect us to travel and we don’t. You don’t expect us to and we do.
The club probably wanted to a) ensure they sold out b) ensure the fans are Wigan fans and c) make as much money as they can
Man Utd will sell out so looks like they would rather take guaranteed sales than risk asking for 8000 tickets and losing out.
19 January 2017 at 5:55 pm #154365Even non league clubs would ask for and take over 5000 to United. We do it everytime, scrambling for tickets, can’t cope. And how many of those ever watch said non-league club again or indeed ever have?
We do it because we want to ensure that genuine WAFC fans get to watch the side and not day trippers or Man Utd fans.
Fair play to the club.
19 January 2017 at 6:03 pm #154367FA Cup rules states clubs are allowed up to 15% of the ground in tickets,
Middlebro took 10,000
Reading 6000
We again act small minded opt for 4% 3000 the lowest ever asked for.no wonder Sharpes chippy went bump
