Seriously?? It is like you are looking for any single way to criticize the club. They have made a fantastic gesture to the fans, and you are the only one criticizing.

I think from now I will stop taking notice of your pointless comments as it benefits and entertains nobody.

Yeah you do that, stop taking notice and move on somewhere else rather than your painful dross on how the sun shines out the clubs arse.
I know how many tickets actually went on sale this morning it was less than a 100. The rest were taken by corporate, the club and sponsors well before this morning. The second batch were are actual allocation.
They should have made less of a subsidy say £25 and £35 and took another 2000

3000 ? , be like a burp in the grand canyon, Latics small minded club with certain small minded fans (as above)

That’s not true.
It is. Cup Winners said it is.

You must have a really good boss, faffing around on the phone and online all morning, wouldn’t it have been easier to get down to the ticket office early and get your tickets then go to work?

I seem to remember you having a good cry on this messageboard about someone you know not being able to get a ticket to Blackpool last season.

You now have the cheek to have a go at someone for not going down to the stadium to make sure they got one.

You are the worst poster on this messageboard.
Yep you’re right he didn’t get a ticket, and my rant at the time was because of people jumping on the promotion bandwagon, and folk who hadn’t been to an away match all season got tickets for Blackpool (away)

All im saying is rather than faff around online and on the phone at work of all places, book an hour off work, get down to the DW early and you get a ticket.

Fuck the EFL

Must admit today is the first time ever I’ve had to do a lot of messing about to get my tickets on line, that includes all the wemberley trips.

I wanted 4 tickets – 2 adults, one over 65 and one for my 7 year old grandson. I personally didn’t agree with season ticket holders getting the chance of two tickets. Just because someone had bought tickets previously should not have given them the chance of a ticket before a season card holder. Its ludicrous in my opinion and can fully understand why many fans are angry and disappointed.
I would have willingly accepted the fact that my grandson missed out on a ticket due to season ticket holders getting first choice.
My personal gripe was that my grandson who has been to about 6 matches over the last two seasons including two away trips, has no previous buying history on the system. He is not old enough to buy his own tickets so his dad and me have always got them for him. The ticket office could look on their system and see that I have previously bought tickets for a minor.
It would not allow me to buy more than one ticket per client code and would not let me buy an under 16’s ticket on an adult season ticket.
The only way I got him a ticket today was to borrow a season card from someone who can’t go, and buy him an adult ticket.
The ticket office acknowledged this problem when I contacted them and are taking it up with the Website Administrator.

To chuck another spanner in the works a fan that as paid on the day ten times or so this season will have given the club much more in cash than a season ticket purchaser so why shouldn’t they have first dibs.
I only say this to point out the club are in a no win situation with this subject. When there is a demand some fans will always miss out.

 .. Only one contributor on this thread talking ‘Dross’

Also you attempted to quote my post incorrectly.

Oh, and I am pretty sure this makes no sense in all honesty…. ‘Yeah you do that, stop taking notice and move on somewhere else rather than your painful dross on how the sun shines out the clubs arse.’……

‘Move on somewhere else rather than your painful dross’?? This literally baffles me..

Are you sure you didn’t just type the number wrong numerous times and that made you miss the tickets and make you angry? as from what I can gather it seems much more likely than whatever tripe you are coming out with.
They have, but there will be very few who have done this and they probably can’t prove they’ve paid on the door ten times. Whereas a season ticket holder can prove he’s paid to attend every home game.

It’s the same at every club.

Sponsors and execs get the first choice, then season ticket holders, then open sale.

Whatever happened to the old fashioned way , club gets percentage of tickets sells as many as poss sends those not sold back for home club to sell on. Simple.

No, doesn’t make sense. Work it out yourself.

That would be far too simple Nuneaton.
There is no reason why we coulldn’t have taken 7000 tickets from them, put them on sale until Saturday evening and sent the remaining ones back on Sunday for Utd to sell the following week.
Who knows, we may have sold them all anyway with the way the original 3000 were snapped up.

Just checked my ticket which came today and I am in the £55 seats block 229. That’s a 30 dab saving. :cheer:

So once again it pays to get your tickets late, even though in my case it wasn’t intended.

5500 would have been next but too late now. Tomorrow is more important and next week a few of the new faces will get a run and Monday the accountants will be smiling.

Run the risk of Utd fans in our end then which is obvious that we didn’t want.

I don’t get all this ‘run the risk of Utd fans in our end” lark. We are not the only club to ever have played at Old Trafford, how does every other club manage to ensure the tickets go to their fans?

There are no more Utd fans in Wigan than there are in any other local town or none local town for that matter, so how is it that in Wigan the Utd fans would get the tickets and not Latics fans?
