Shared by us both only problem will be if ever we are put up for sale will be harder to sell without the asset of the stadium
Bet you are grinning like a big Cheshire cat mutty lol15 July 2023 at 12:51 pm #200295Yes. Told y’all a while back that he owned more than 25% and was soon to own 100% of the warriors, but of course your collective ego thought he’d bought the latics out of love for football and would be next on the conveyer belt to shaft the warriors.
Welcome to sporting club Wigan.
15 July 2023 at 12:59 pm #200296Hopefully won’t last long rugby league is a dying sport
Thing is though he bought the warriors not the warriors buying us
Let’s see what his plans are regarding the future of both clubs are15 July 2023 at 12:59 pm #200297Yes. Welcome to sporting club Wigan.
Welcome on board Mutty, you can now relinquish your ridiculous support of Sunderland and get right behind your home town football club ,Wigan Athletic.
15 July 2023 at 1:18 pm #200298My only worry is in the future it’s really going to be hard for anyone to buy the club if danson ever wants to sell us
Without the stadium as a asset15 July 2023 at 1:19 pm #200299Was always on the cards stadium owned by danson

Bet you are grinning like a big Cheshire cat mutty lolEven though Danson will own both clubs the stadium as it stands is still an asset of Wigan Athletic. If that changes to a shared stadium the football club should be significantly compensated by the Warriors.
15 July 2023 at 2:01 pm #200300Worst news since that dark day when administration was announced.

Rather like taking your loose change out of your left pocket and putting it in your right pocket.

There’s now more chance that I might go to a football game at the DW when I’m visiting Wigan now they are under the same ownership. Perhaps you might start following your home town rugby side instead of “anyone but Wigan” RLFC?

Without the stadium as a assetThe football club will be worth something as long as it lives within its means, develops youth and becomes self sufficient. If it continues in the same reckless manner that it has over the past decade, then I fear for your existence.
