1 February 2012 at 10:55 pm #80166Feck me! Argue over a stck of shit.
We are pants.
The team is pants.
The manager is pants.
The owners pants.
The support is pants
And the fact we cant sign a pants player like andrew johnson means its all feccin pants.Take a chill pill Mitty FFS.
PS it did make me chuckle.
1 February 2012 at 11:24 pm #80168I don’t know much about the Watford lad, but Andy Johnson would have been a good signing.Great player and goal scorer AJ in his day, but been dogged by injuries last couple of seasons. Might have made our medical team work for their money for the first time since Steve “the twisted sock” McMillan warmed the treatment table. :woohoo:

Yeah , but at least after football he put his horizontal treatment table position to good use

What a journey!2 February 2012 at 2:52 am #80185If only Bobby would have said that we would come out of this transfer window stronger than we have in previous ones, he’d have been bang on and negated the need for this debate.
One positive coming out of yesterday is that Bobby / DW stood firm on the promise not to let Moses and McCarthy go. There’s not been many windows since we got into the EPL where we have not lost our best playerright at the death.
I like the rest of you was a bit miffed that no players came in yesterday, although I do sympathise with Bobby when he had a moan at the transfer window closing on the same night as a game. I was hoping that he may have some second choices lined up that he could pick up without a fuss, but it wasn’t to be.If you had been listening to what Bobby has been saying about the transfer window for weeks, you’d have picked up that he feels it needs a big deal to go through in order for other dealings to kick in. If say United had made 2 or 3 big signings there is then a potential for some of their fringe players to be released or go out on loan, which then allows the receiving clubs do the same and the player market is suddenly flooded.
Has it happens the “big deal” didn’t go through, therefore the clubs are left in a position just like any other companies, i.e. with no real cash flow.I don’t want to get the Darksiders nibbling here but if we had captured the Watford defender and Andy Johnson, I’m sure it would have led to an outcry on here of “who’s he!” and ” this mons past it!”
B)If I have said it once I have said it several times, we needed a central defender and a striker, we got neither !!!
2 February 2012 at 2:59 am #80188You forgot to mention we need a :silly: new MANAGER
2 February 2012 at 3:04 am #80191You forgot to mention we need a :silly: new MANAGERThe thing is we have suggested RM having an experienced right hand man and we have raised concerns over several short comings that the World and his dog can see but the powers that be have felt fit to leave things as they are ! The crowds are dropping and if the powers that be don’t realize that a football club is about the fans then they don’t deserve to receive the fans hard earned cash or cash that could be put to other uses !

Phil, with as much respect as I can muster, you’re a f**** window cleaner. let’s not pretend that you or I or anyone else on here knows the first thing about actually running a football club. In the real world I mean, not on a PC game.

Griff, with equal respect I don’t claim to know how to run a football club but I do know that even a layman like myself can see that RM needed a right hand man with experience to assist him !It has been said many many times on here. Like I said this club or any other club would be nothing without the fans and so I believe that sometimes they should take in some of the feedback that comes from forums like these. Contrary to what some may think Jay says that some club personnel DO read this forum ! I have heard of other clubs who listen to feedback from forums, after all lots of business’s like to hear customer feedback do they not ! Unhappy customers/fans will not continue to pay for goods that are not satisfactory. I as a mere Window Cleaner like to hear feedback and would not be offended in the slightest if someone pointed out mistakes that I have made !
Call me paranoid but sometimes I get the impression that my chosen profession as a window cleaner is a humble one at that to you because you keep stating it !! How does £40 an hr sound !! ;)PS. I have never played a computer or console football game in my life ! Wii with the kids is my limit ! :)
2 February 2012 at 3:22 pm #80224£40 an hour sounds very good , and mostly tax free too. ;)
You must be either very fast or you charge a lot more than mine does – £4.50 , but he throws in loads of Latics abuse for free !!

I think you may find that the crowds have dropped since the very first season, its not just happened during the Martinez reign. I know quite a few lads who got bored after the first 2-3 seasons once they had seen the likes of United, Arsenal and Chelsea grace the DW once or twice.
You’re beginning to sound like Dave from Skem on the bragging stakes on how much you earn. For the record, my window cleaner charges £2.00 for the downstairs windows and £3.50 for the lot. He reckons he’s not on £7 an hour by the time he’s done the cleaning and took just as long trying to collect his money. Perhaps you have set up an account whereby all your customers can pay you via paypal or DD. B)

How does £40 an hr sound !! ;)I mention it only because I know what it is. If I new you were a brain surgeon or a bus driver I’d mention that too, precisely because none of them qualify you to know how to run a football club and appoint its staff. I find it fantastically arrogant when people say “we have told the club what they need to do but they dont listen”.
I bet you’d be mightily brassed off if Jonathan Jackson rocked up in Leyland and told you that you should be using different ladders and chamois leathers. ;)
