We’d be 6-8 million better off if ChippyBoy had of got his sh1t together last summer.We went through all this some weeks ago but when you have the memory retention of a goldfish it’s to be expected.

Out of the 12 at least 3 were loan players so not ours to keep. Off the top of my head another 4 weren’t in the team anyway and the others were probably slagged off by you last season anyway.

The invisible squad ? pmsl not enough to fill a JPEG. As I said not enough to play 3 pops in. No matter how you paint it up were 12 players down on last year’s squad with 6 weeks to go 5 of those forwards and midfielders and rumours others to be sold. We turn over more players yearly than most clubs in the League if not the highest. To me that ain’t building up a healthy squad that’s rebuilding every year.
Loans don’t count ? if, on yer fecking bike !Club like our will always find it difficult to recruit with the wealthier clubs in opposition. Still do agree with you….could be starting season with threadbare squad…..
Who have we lost or are going to lose that’s an issue though?
Walton – most people slagged him all season and wanted Jones in goal. Could still come back.
James – never replace him.
Robinson – might be coming back.
Powell – sadly we just can’t compete with sides financially. Most people slag him off for being injured.
McManaman – despite people thinking he is the scouse George Best we won’t miss him.
MacDonald – I liked him but he hasn’t played for 2 years.
Vaughan – Left in January anyway.
Walker – I couldn’t tell you what he looks like.
Who else?
FFS, most players are under contract till June 30th nothing much happens before then. Why not trust the club a little and if no signings come in then start slagging them off. Cookie has given us a massive hint that bodies will be arriving so lets wait and see what happens before we go into meltdown. How many signings have the big boys made yet. It will start to gather pace next month and I’m confident that we will recruit heavily.COYL
