So you don’t actually know?
You are guessing.1 February 2020 at 12:18 am #184555Cup Winners – I have to say that if it was all about money then good on the club for sticking to their guns. If Milan tried to change the deal at the last minute in their own favour and we didn’t like it then I’m glad we’ve told them to do one!Much as I have great sympathy for the player, the club’s best interests should always come first. So if our board were not happy with Milan’s terms then we do not sell – simple as!
If Robinson is good enough, Milan will come back. But now he just needs to get his head down and show them what they are missing out on – which will be great for us (cos we’ll probably be able to slap another couple of million on his price tag if he does)!
I agree, Latics have said further test were needed taking 72 hours.
Now transfers the negotiating normally is done prior to the medical so both parties have an agreement in place. I think we’ve made a pre-agreement fee’s payments etc with AC Milan.
Robinson then goes over for his medical and passes.
AC then decide to alter the structure of the payments as agreed in a pre contract,
Latics then say “Not on your fcukin Nellie” it’s in black & white but AC have already agreed so getting out will be nigh impossible.
So AC say fine and then look to get out the deal and come up with a cock and bull tale about more tests.
So, officially Latics cannot say money was the reason the transfer broke down and AC used a legal medical loop hole. They probably got a local Italian smack head outside the ground to p1ss in a bottle then swapped it with Robinsons.

1 February 2020 at 6:18 pm #184576Gutted for the lad but given what happened at the end maybe not the end of the world.
At least we have a decent player still at the club and once his head is sorted can be a real help to the club going forward.
Time to close ranks and hope the two strikers Lowe and Moore carry on scoring.1 February 2020 at 6:35 pm #184579Gutted for the lad but given what happened at the end maybe not the end of the world.

Time to close ranks and hope the two strikers Lowe and Moore carry on scoring.Typical Cook, the lad gets a 90th minute confidence boosting winner then he is benched for the next match with super Gav coming back in.
1 February 2020 at 6:40 pm #184580Are you surprised?…Garner comes on against Derby, scores then benched next game. Line up doesn’t inspire confidence, but let’s hope.
1 February 2020 at 6:45 pm #184582I think we’re planning a late smash and grab with Lowe coming on to score another late winner.

Confidence booster or not the pair of them aren’t good enough and could lace Gary Teales boots between them.1 February 2020 at 7:27 pm #184586Gary Teale couldn’t cross a road, he was superb at running at defenders when he was on form though
1 February 2020 at 7:32 pm #184587Gary Teale couldn’t cross a road, he was superb at running at defenders when he was on form thoughEven his bad crosses were met by the likes of Ellington, Robets and McCulloch, and strong midfield players getting in the box.
1 February 2020 at 7:33 pm #184588Yes, fair enough, we do need another central defender
1 February 2020 at 7:54 pm #184589Gary Teale’s main aim was to be the first to the corner flag, then… he hadn’t a clue what to do.
From Matlock to ManU

1 February 2020 at 9:25 pm #184610Teale, Teale will tear you apart again! When he was warming up for Derby we sang “Teal, Teal will fall on his arse again “
He took it wellFair play to him. Signed for us in the third tier, when Jewell was being slagged off left, right and centre, helped us get to the Premier league and stay there, and played for Scotland before they were crap.
He did alright for us really -
