Not sure if it was the promotion season or not but he had a spell of being the best player on the park and then he was hacked down at Stoke, got injured and never seemed to be the same again.
Now I come to think about it I think it was the year we missed the playoffs when he scored that rocket at Nob End.

I was just being kind!
We have actually benefited from lots of great Scottish players over the years, including the fantastic Kal Beckenbauer Naismith and David the cat Marshall.
While we’re euphoric, what are our all time favourite Scots? Mine would be Ian Purdie
