11 July 2018 at 1:37 am #170175Why would he?
I’ll give you a week or two to work it out, let us know when the penny drops!
Fuck the EFL
11 July 2018 at 2:18 am #170181Is that because he was working with Bob and Jonesey and they were beaten by France?
Why on earth would he feel a bell end for that?
I wouldnt think Thiery went around feeling bell ends anyway.
Hard luck Bob and Jonesey and well done on reaching the semi final of the world cup.
Knowing Bob he’ll be getting his team ready for Josephs Goal next May so that’ll keep him focused.11 July 2018 at 2:14 pm #170190Is that because he was working with Bob and Jonesey and they were beaten by France?
Why on earth would he feel a bell end for that?Exactly. Not as if he turned the France job down. He’s probably proud of his accomplishment and then once his job is over on Saturday hoping that the froggies win the final.
I wonder if Nigel Adkins feels a “bell end” if Wigan beat a team he manages? Or Danny Wilson because he’s from Wigan?
11 July 2018 at 2:40 pm #170193Different kettle of fish managing a club and managing a country, you could tell by Henry’s face at the final whistle he didnt want to be there.
Imagine someone like Alex Ferguson managing England and having to play Scotland in the knockout stages of the World Cup?
A bit of a mish mash with the Belgium coaching staff a Spaniard, Frenchman and Englishman and all three countries in the World Cup! :silly:
Fuck the EFL
11 July 2018 at 2:50 pm #170194Is that not because he lost Bullitt? I doubt any of the players or staff wanted to be there at the final whistle.
What about a player who isn’t actually from that Country? How would that Brazilian who plays for Russia have felt had they played Brazil? Chances are he would have gone and given 100% like all pros do. Like Wayne Rooney did for Utd against Everton or James McCarthy afainst Scotland or like the Irish team would do against England.
11 July 2018 at 3:55 pm #170198Players show their allegiance to the countries they play for, they maybe have two choices, England or Scotland, Russia or Brazil etc once they choose which country they want to play for thats it 100% should be given to that country.
I cant imagine why a Frenchman that has played for his country should want to coach another country that they could face in the same competition!
Fuck the EFL

Eriksson coached England, Klinsmann coached USA, Jack Charlton coached RoI.
You get the best people in for any job, national team, club team, or in general business, no matter their background.11 July 2018 at 4:39 pm #170204The man’s a disgrace. Managing Belgium to their best ever finish at the world cup, beating the tournament favourites Brazil and scoring the most goals in the competition losing out to a defensive France from a set piece in a tight semi final. Let’s forget that he won the only major trophy this club has and will probably ever see, let’s forget he gave us the happiest day of our lives, let’s remember he walked out on us for a job at a much higher level after he had his budget slashed at our club year on year.
11 July 2018 at 5:01 pm #170205I noticed there are a couple of posters on here who have not responded to my question of whether it would have been OK with them had he not won the FA Cup but kept us the Premier League and still left.
Would they still have labelled him a Judas even though they openly admit they would not swap winning the FA Cup for anything.

Probably the same posters who only see RM as the man who took us down as opposed to the man who kept us up far longer than he should have done. Or the man who put the name Wigan Athletic on the lips of billions of football fans the world over by somehow winning the FA cup. Or the man who finally defeated United and Ferguson and who also beat Liverpool and Arsenal in a run that stunned the so called experts to keep us up again. Or the man who brought European football to fans who had one time only dreamed of playing in the league.
I mean what kind of manager do you call that.
