I’m actually looking forward to it.

Get rid of the cling-on ‘fans’, the hangers on and JCL’s.

      Clear out the mercenaries.

Don’t get ripped off going to games.

      Might start enjoying it again.

Ok, I WANT us to go down now.

      Cheers.

VAT you’re having a fckin laugh aren’t you?

take a check on the admission prices in the championship and then come back and tell us all if you think the prices are a rip off or not.

EG, and not championship, but Accrington fookin Stanley.
£15. Now correct me if I’m wrong here, but is that not a similar price to what our ST holders pay at the moment to watch the best players in the world at the DW?

£28 for that ‘stand’ at Cesspool. Rip off.

VAT is an idiot, Of course I would be there in the champonship, premiership, and anywhere else we may end up, but to be fair, we are NOT going down, I would place a lot of money on that, but what sort of fan wishes for his club to go down, idiot’s, thats who.

            #16887

Vat you are an idiot, why would you prefer the championship, poorer quality of football, lack of media exposure and probably the same amount of beatings as we get in the premiership, only with smaller crowds and a 1/4 empty stadium.

Cling on fans and JCL, I think you may have this wrong, they are called new fans. How do you expect fan bases to grow? Do we buyin 20 year fans?

Dont get ripped off going to games, think about it and do some research. Do you think you will get much cheaper than £15 a game? With the lack of premiership TV money ticket prices will go up.

Well I respect your views for wanting relegation but all your points are wrong.

            #16900

I don’t respect any of his views and it’s noticable the he hasn’t responded to the rubbish that he opened this thread with.

well guys i reckon quite a few people will agree with him, maybe secretly but i myself admit i aint enjoying it anywhere near i did pre prem. i think its the big four bias that gets my back up most we will never be able to compete at this level and it bloody hurts like hell getting beat week after week

I will start off by saying we won’t go down. It doesn’t take a year to get a team with a new manager new players and a new style of attacking football which in my opinion is great, to achieve success it takes a while. Last seasno we played a defensive football and to change it into an attacking free flowing build up play is very hard so i give martinez alot of credit on what he is trying to achieve. also the quality of the players are of a better standard than we are used to having except for valencia and palacios obviously. But N’Zogbia is quality Diame is a good all rounder etc. he is building his own squad. We won’t go down bcoz the teams below are worse than we are struggling for goals, money, players what ever the reason. We also have young talent with mccarthy, so i would look to what we might get to in the future rather than look down to the championship bcoz value for money i think we are worth it.

Well Nuneaton the problem is, if we get relegated, and then don’t beaten week after week, we end up with the very real possibility of getting promoted, and then, shucks, it’s back to the Premier League again.

We must have the only supporters in the country who want relegation and want to stay in the lower leagues, and it’s laughable.

It’s like a local band ‘selling out’, much to the dismay of their fans who have followed them since pub gigs.

To me, it’s the old elitist ‘I was at Canvey Island don’t you know’ doctrine again:

‘Let’s get back to playing on a ploughed field in front of a thousand, and get rid of these Johnny Come Latelys. Bah, I hate the Rugby, thinking they’re better than us.’

If you have no hopes or ambition for your team, what is the point of supporting them? If you want to remain mid-table, treading water, then why not do that in the top division?

Anyone who wants to remain lower league, playing in from of a handful, with a real exclusive feel about the whole supporter thing, then why not go and form Athletic Of Wigan? The Mancunians are showing what a massive ‘success’ it can be.

Mr Standish….top quality response (I only wish I’d beaten you to it). The morons, and I include the originator(s) of this post, will not be satisfied until we are ‘kicking cans’ in Cambridge Street again. It’s true…what do they want if we get relegated?

“Heeyyyyy!!! be careful we might make the play-off’s and get back into that top thingy again…….me and me trout want to go to Blackpool again – it’s only holi we get”

Some people need to realise that it’s actually 2010 not 1972 with Gordon Milne and Mr Fleming et al…………move on you morons and get with the club you all say you have supported for the last thousand years.

                We push on from here……………..

                ……..and we stay here.

We will only stay where we are if we send Martinez the way we sent Hutchings. Hutchings was sacked for less.

Sorry bobhead – time to go.

Vat, why would you want to pay a few quid less & have your team relegated ? It’s just stupid, the cling on fans as you call them are at every club. Take Newcastle as an example 32,000 was there 1st Championship home game attendance & there normally getting 50,000+. Also, Newcastle fans are regarded as the most “prowd” in England. We would get half of our original attendances at the DW & the south stand will be almost empty. All the kids will support a different team & if were ever back in the prem, they won’t. As for away support, I wouldn’t even bother going in early to get a pint or 2 the queues of the past are gone. I’ll go for 83 fans away at Plymouth if were relegated. It’s a shame there’s no-one-man that can splash some serious cash around. WHELAN CAN WHELAN CAN WHELAN CAN WHELAN CAN

Err, wasn’t Hutchings was sacked for a run of 6 straight defeats? Have we lost 7 on the trot?
