I notice a few people have changed their opinions now.
I haven’t. The only thing I have changed my mind over, although I am still torn is, I don’t want us to go down. But then again, I’m not enjoying it still, and by that I mean the fact we are so out of our depth at this level, and all we get is a few draws here, an odd win here (still not won 2 on the bounce) and lose the rest. It’s hardly enjoyable. Nor is the mediocre football we are playing. Has muched changed in a year? no.
The only reason I don’t want us to go down is because the club might just die on it’s arse. All the best players will go, the crowds will be even less, and we might just sink like a stone.
But then again, the Championship would be more competitive.What’s changed in a year though? Anything?
VAT is an idiot, Of course I would be there in the champonship, premiership, and anywhere else we may end up, but to be fair, we are NOT going down, I would place a lot of money on that, but what sort of fan wishes for his club to go down, idiot’s, thats who.James a fool and his money are easily parted and if you would bet big money on us staying up you must be a fool. I honestly can’t see were our next win is coming from.
But unlike Vat I really hope we stay up.

i think the strain is showing up on you just the same as the jibbering wreck martinez.
I will start off by saying we won’t go down. It doesn’t take a year to get a team with a new manager new players and a new style of attacking football which in my opinion is great, to achieve success it takes a while. Last seasno we played a defensive football and to change it into an attacking free flowing build up play is very hard so i give martinez alot of credit on what he is trying to achieve. also the quality of the players are of a better standard than we are used to having except for valencia and palacios obviously. But N’Zogbia is quality Diame is a good all rounder etc. he is building his own squad. We won’t go down bcoz the teams below are worse than we are struggling for goals, money, players what ever the reason. We also have young talent with mccarthy, so i would look to what we might get to in the future rather than look down to the championship bcoz value for money i think we are worth it.i am truly begining to despair about the health issues with latics – martinez has lost the plot -dave (vat69) making outrageous statements that contridict them selves, james c offering to take big bets on our survival and now this person on about this “new style of attacking football”

chill out dave – wind your flaming neck in – you know i agree with alot of your sentiments and i never call you a nob despite the fact that you are probably the biggest one on here,you have more faces than days of the week and you change your stance with every passing post –
i do read what you say as did everyone else -in this post you crave lower league status and in your other post you want allardyce in so we dont get relegated, all i am saying is make your damn mind up.
