How sad.
Still , as long as the price is right clubs , and it seems some of their fans , will whore themselves out to whichever foreign syndicate comes along flashing the cash. A century of history changed by some bleedin foreigner who’s been there two minutes.
Of course it won’t stop at changing the colours. The more foreign owners that come into the game will mean it’s only a matter of time before some poor unfortunates will see their club being moved , Wimbledon style , to God only knows which part of the country.

Surely it would be a home game if they moved to anywhere in the middle east? Any country that sends their dentists over, the only people who can actually afford their ridiculous season ticket prices.
And while I’m on the subject, I get laughed at in work (I work in Liverpool) for having a season ticket that cost £250, comments like “not surprised, watching 19 games of shit football, hoofing up field begging for someone to get on the end of it” – I wasn’t aware having cheap tickets was a bad thing? Paying astronomical prices to watch exactly the same teams as we do, often playing better football than Liverpool (especially going on last season) and Everton. Little Wigan can’t seem to win, if we had expensive tickets they’d joke that it isn’t worth it, cheap tickets get the response that we play shit football. Personally I’d rather not get ripped off and priced out of tickets by my club! (Although I do begrudge paying this much for a ticket when I used to get in for a quid or 2 with my JJ’s card as a kid!)
