2 great away efforts….should have had 6 pts…..a minimum 4……get 1……scoring in open play a massive issue….Not Cooks fault ?…..Sorry but that’s usually where the buck stops isn’t it ? He continually picks Massey,Jacob’s…..Derby Naismith on,late equaliser…same today. Cook out ffs
27 October 2019 at 7:51 pm #181647Been superb today. Best away performance in a long time.Yes we were and yes it was. Then you expect the enevitable and the enevitable happens. Seems like the team does too.
27 October 2019 at 8:27 pm #181648Fuck off and support city or Liverpool. Now criticising for outplaying team in top few in league. We are Wigan not Barcelona. If that’s not a performance you can be proud off I would go and support someone else as its not gonna get much better.

Cook out ffsThat post has identified which one of the two I was referring to earlier in this thread you are You are moaning for moaning sake. Great performance, great point, should have been two. That was an awful decision by Cook, telling Massey to shoot straight at the goalie when a simple sideways pass would have killed the game. Cook out!
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!27 October 2019 at 8:47 pm #181651The last three performances are telling me we are not that far away from being a mid table or above team.
However, surely a combination of Pilkington, Windass, Garner and Gelhardt as starters or used substitutes would offer more than Massey, Jacobs and Naismith.
Naismith to be fair is looking better than Massey and Jabobs, but the previously mentioned 4 would in my mind be better options.
Good result today, and a decent overall performance.
I think most of us would have snatched their hand off for a point at 1.30pm today.27 October 2019 at 8:49 pm #1816522 great away efforts….should have had 6 pts…..a minimum 4……get 1……scoring in open play a massive issue….Not Cooks fault ?…..Sorry but that’s usually where the buck stops isn’t it ? 27 October 2019 at 8:55 pm #181653Certainly not Sammy. Sick of so called fans attacking team and manager. Last 3 performances been very good as some have identified.
27 October 2019 at 9:29 pm #181655Manager out off his depth simple.
Cook can not be blamed for missed chances, thats the job of the players, however picking massey time and time again can be blamed on cook..[/quote]
Well that’s one reason for putting some blame on Cook. Not having a player good enough playing behind and alongside Moore is another.
Playing minus a real wide man putting in crosses for Moore to meet in the box is another.
Top scorer by a mile is a defender, what’s that all about.
Dominated last two away games yet get one point isn’t good enough so if it isn’t Cooks fault we miss chances then he needs to either address the situation by either dropping or punishing the offender’s.27 October 2019 at 10:09 pm #181657Who picks and trains these players it’s not stevie wonder ffs.
27 October 2019 at 10:42 pm #181660Great post …..Big Roy’s a bit rattled….Is it because low and behold we didn’t win away……again. Let’s blame Crusty the pie, ball boys or anyone but the bell end who gives f*** all support to Moore. Zero width…..then Jacob’s on (the away day invisible man)….Naismith followed by the usual concede. As stated ,top scorer a defender……get a grip 31 away ,2 wins remember………or is it just good old bad luck ?????? Cook out asap.
27 October 2019 at 10:43 pm #181661Whisper it quietly….
We’re starting to look a good side.
But Gelhart would have won it if he’d come on
Dunkley scores when he wants!!
27 October 2019 at 10:49 pm #181662As long as someone scores I don’t care if it’s Moore, Massey, Dunkley or Marshall.
Massey has been poor for me this season and I would be picking Pilkington above him at the moment. I’m also not convinced about Lowe. His finishing is poor, but then if he finished more than he missed he wouldn’t be playing for Wigan.
27 October 2019 at 11:06 pm #181663Rattled? Never felt as positive in last 12 months after last 3 games. We’ve played great. Spoke to Jonathan Jackson last week who told me the lengths the club has gone too in securing Cook for the foreseeable. Carry on bitching and wasting your energy about how inept he is. Will bet you a grand he’s still here in New year. Wanna shake on it?
27 October 2019 at 11:14 pm #181664Love him or loathe him the players bust a gut for him and you can’t ask for much more than that. Let’s face it we’ve had some total knobs as mangers in the past and we’ll not get a higher caliber of manager on our budget. He will bring the youngsters through in time and if their good enough we’ll reap the benefits.
I agree with whats being said about subs but generally I think we’re on the up. -
