Great post ,particularly the analysis of the statement about introducing him into a winning side !!!
Happens at almost every single club as several people have pointed out.
We can argue all season long whether we feel it’s right or wrong but Cook and the rest of the coaching staff have chosen to drip feed him into the team so there’s no point discussing it. If he wasn’t even making the bench behind say Gary Roberts then I would see the argument.
