just heard a decent advert on wish fm, along the lines of ” new season, new stadium name, new kit, new look team, new manager, Its good to be back, get your’e tickets £20″ and so on. Have we finally grasped the idea of marketing.
Anyway for the owd uns its a bit more like owd times than new,
Bobby, jonesy, Barrow, blue and white stripes, Springfield stand.
;)17 August 2009 at 6:09 pm #5341Question, and this is serious.Would YOU take a 3 year old child to the Wolves game?
I have deep reservations, due to the antics of some of their lot, as we walk past the away end after the game.
I’m thinking NOT. It’s a shame, as it will be his first game as a season ticket holder, and my first ever game was against Wolves. So for tradition sake, I’d like to. But in my mind of minds, I know it’s safer not to.
And he’ll probably be tired for a night match.
I remember when we played Wolves away in what was Division 1 at the time.
There was a lot of trouble but they didn’t target any kids, etc. I also believe it was Wigan who started the whole riot after the game.
Anyway, i’d say take him, doubt there’ll be much trouble unless you’re looking for it and i’m sure with a 3 year old lad that’ll be the last thing you want.
You never get trouble around the ground, remember we have the highest police officer fee in the prem or England?? (is that correct)??
Take him! ;)
