Definitely been sh*t on from a great height we’ve been shuffled and give up home advantage purely for money.
Well done WAFC your gonna make us look like a 10bob club live to the world never even given a chance,
      Danson has proved one thing,
      Greed

I won’t……if we’re fortunate enough to draw another top club at home be prepared……we’ve set a precedent…..it’ll be like a home game for the opposition. We’ve become an utter laughing stock.

The EFl trophy is drawn tonight, the tie should have been week commencing the 8th Jan so they’ll either play it week after or they’ll force us play 3 in 6 days

If we draw Bolton give them East Stand as well cash in Goodburn and while your at it give Saints West stand Easter

East Stand holds 8238, North Stand holds 5400 so 2838 less United fans in the North Stand.
So at £30 a ticket x 2838 we would lose £85,140 giving United the North stand.

3rd round TV Money = £85,000….So the TV money covers the excess to be made from away fans.

            Give United say 5,000 tickets for the North stand at £30 a ticket = £150,000 plus £85,000 TV money………Grand total = £235,000.

            Give United the East Stand 8000 x £30 = £240,000 + TV rights £85,000 = £325,000.

The loyal fans are being sold down the river for an extra £90,000.

That’s not counting how much the home fans would generate plus beer and food sales, the club will still make a small fortune on the night.

The majority of our fanbase won’t forget this one.

Just say we get minimum 12k home fans at £30 a pop that’s another £360,000 on top of the £235,0000 so that’s pushing towards £600,000 and that’s with Utd fans in the North Stand.

The club is alienating loyal fans to accommodate a couple of thousand extra Utd fans, we still have around 4 weeks before the game hopefully our fans will bombard the club with emails etc and force them to change their minds…Greedy Bastards!

            Fuck the EFL

For me it’s not so much what they’ve done (I get that, reluctantly, that it’s for financial reasons) but how it’s been done.
Really poor that there was no prior consultation with the supporters’ groups. It makes us loyal ST holders feel like an irrelevance.
If the East stand had to be given away, then why not pre allocate the centre blocks of the North stand to East ST holders? (Allowing them to take up available seats in West/South if they wanted.
Then allow West/South ST holders first refusal on their own seats?

The Easters would still be p!ssed off but at the moment most are p!ssed off

How many other clubs would make such a mess out of what should be our biggest game in years?

Thing is mate, this game is a bonus and wasn’t scheduled in the finances within the club, even if the club had just kept Utd fans in the North Stand they would have made £235,000 just from United fans at £30 a pop.

These guys making the decisions aren’t football fans and have no affinity to the WAFC apart from employment, this is one huge cock up and now with the Chairmans statement earlier they are covering their tracks with bullshit excuses, they know they’ve fucked up!

After initially being thrilled with the draw, the clubs derogatory treatment of our own has completely crushed the anticipation. I’m sorry to say I now have very little interest in the game.I don’t feel the desire to waste any disposable income to sit there watching a virtual Utd home tie….have the piss taken the whole 90mins. I’ll use the money by going Doncaster in the Efl Cup. Rather see it in Doncasters coffers . We’ll done Mr Goodburn……some supporters will put up with this…..fine ! That’s their perogative. I feel very bitter about the way the club has shit on us. Makes you realise that the statue of Mr Whelan deserves its place……a great custodian of our club. Yes he made mistakes……early years of the ground there were some swapping and changing but the East stand became the home stand.Pretty certain this wouldn’t have happened on his watch. Too late to rectify the ticket situation……damage done. I’m sure this could be reflected in season ticket sales…….Great bit of business!!!!!

Do I recall Sunderland being given the entire East Stand on Mr Whelan’s watch ?

                #201512

I think Mr B & CW are being over dramatic.
At the end of last season you were only too happy that we still had our beloved club to follow in the football league. Quit moaning and enjoy the ride; you might just live longer

How many St’s do we have ? Circa 8,000 ?
I’ll put a tenner on the fact that we don’t even manage to sell out our home allocation. Where are the extra 9,000 + Johnny Come Lately armchair fans going to be found (tongue in cheek: in a rugby town)

And there lyeth the problem…..too many yes sir ,thank you sir ,so pleased to be here sir supporter’s like Lostock.F£££ me,did you actually read my post ?.Yes Mr Whelan did make mistakes….in the early days they were experimenting but for the majority of his tenure the East was a home stand period. Of course I’m happy to have a club ….so does that give them the right to show us no respect. If your happy then as I stated that’s your perogative……but don’t patronise me and those who aren’t happy with it. You pay ,enjoy…..I choose to use my cash elsewhere.

Have you considered the safety issues with such a large allocation, 8:15 Kick off. Been to enough games in 50 years to know it will be absolute mayhem.I wouldn’t take my grandkids anywhere near…..this will come back to bite our chairman in his arse !!!

After Utd’s performance against Bournemouth they’ll be lucky to sell their 8k allocation

8,000 allocation but the east stand with sponsors adds etc is more like 6,500.Don’t suppose the club have asked the sponsors if they are OK relinquishing advertising space for this game. After all for Latics games the East stand is called the ‘ Kingdom East Stand ‘.

All the corporate has been sold the vast majority to Utd fans £85 and a £120 each.
If your a Wigan fan in there “May the force be with you” cause once the pop starts flowing all hell will break loose

                          Guaranteed

Something those in charge have no doubt overlooked
