A while ago there was someone posting that there was never anything anti-Martinez ever put on the news pages on here, not thinking that anybody had ever sent in such an article to publish, well that day has finally arrived, somebody has bothered…..
Another slips over to the dark side articleFA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
12 January 2012 at 7:02 pm #77958It’s good too, I read it on newsnow a couple of hours ago
12 January 2012 at 7:35 pm #77961Good read ,nothing wrong with some passion and home truths.!

12 January 2012 at 10:25 pm #77976Yeah,an excellent article and probably exactly what the most of us now feel.Nobody can say Bobby has,nt had a fair crack of the whip but he has had restraints put on him which has done him no favours.

lightside forever – used to watch us at our springy park and shall continue to watch us at our d.w……..enjoyed the journey making it to the promised land. Anybody who is considering throwing the towel in then please f u ck off and watch some “debt riddled, corrupt, Americanized, tourist infested, big club from the comfort of your sofa” that has lost it’s heritage, heart/soul and identity in the pursuit making a few $$$$’s more than the next big club.
I shall watch my town team whether it’s at st James park – Newcastle or st James park – Exeter
Bring on Man C££Y – used to beat these men, lets do it again. If we lose, we will still have a club to support

13 January 2012 at 12:20 am #77985So immature you. People have reasons as to why they don’t go, Im 26 started going in 1993 and from about 1996 onwards i very rarely missed a game and probably went to quarter of aways in a season, Not just the north-west ones. It’s funny when you look at it. I loved every minute of getting to the Premiership, No doubt. Now we are here though and there is no ambition any more and no prospect of wanting to finish up the table its now boring. Obviously we cant get promoted any more and all our owner wants us to do is scrape 17th position expecting people to just accept it. That doesn’t appeal to me, I can get excitement watching or playing football on the amateur pitches for £250 less the cost. I don’t think a return of 2 or 3 home wins is worth £250. The love of football has gone now and it’s just an interest these days or something to watch in the pub. Funny how i must have paid thousands in the past to watch lower league football but now we are in the supposedly best league in the world i don’t find it fun or enjoyable any more.
Don’t spout to people like me zoggy, james, whoever you are. I have paid my way to watch good and crap, paid to go to the cup games when we wanted them. But now the club has given up wanting to win so have i.
Suppose you could say im a glory hunter but in reverse.

Well said that man,I would say thats how most fans feel at the moment with whats going on at the DW, there is no ambition end of :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
13 January 2012 at 12:38 am #779901)Making a big song and dance over deserting your club. The right thing to do ? Is it not better to just slink away in the night and leave the rest of us to get on with it.
2)The “pointless” substitution at the end on Saturday, was probably not about changing the game, more about giving the young lad a chance to feel the appreciation as he came off. That’s the lad that’s been shipped on loan, come back and played his bollocks off, it’s to let him know that we want him. So not pointless at all, of course other opinions are unfortunately available.
3) No ambition – the fact we’re more interested in getting a system that should produce home grown players and give us a chance of having more than the one decent player that we could afford to buy at a time is all about ambition.
The fact that some fans equate ambition with spending, whether they can afford it or not is their problem not mine. We’re all being taxed and having services cut because we had a government with “ambition” who spent to improve everything by spending money we didn’t have.

The problem with those who are refusing to go for whatever reason are those who will find a reason not to come back i know people who dont come because Whealen is at the helm ir because Bobby is in charge get rid of those and there well be another reason
A lot of people claim that the team as no fight or backbone seems to me that those that stay away are showing the same symptoms
13 January 2012 at 1:11 am #77997Has our team with no backbone and no fight still gained more points from losing positions than anyone else ?
