Don’t like to point this out really, but if FFP rules had applied to Derby at the same time that we were relegated then they would have gone down that year instead of us! Maybe they then would have offloaded loads of players and never gone into administration? This feels like a bit a karma to me – but I’d rather they had docked both Derby and Sheffield Wednesday in the same season as us because then we would have stayed put in the Championship and found a buyer much more easily.

As others have said – feel sorry for their fans. But as for the clubs and the EFL, well….

Derby now appealing their 12 point deduction.Will be interesting if they win as we appealed on the same grounds (covid). Hope they realise Barnsley will request to be present at the hearing.

I think the floodgates would open if they didn’t get docked through COVID, watch how many other teams will use it if they succeed.

The thing is, they knew in the summer they were on the cusp yet didn’t get rid of their wage bill.
