Bala Town kick off their European game tonight against Levadia Tallinn.
They will be playing at Belle Vue, home of Rhyl Town, as will Prestatyn Town. Airbus UK Broughton will play at Wrexham.

Get away ;)
2 July 2013 at 9:35 pm #117190I’ve never even been to Rhyl.
2 July 2013 at 9:55 pm #117194Dont go to rhyl. Its platt bridge on sea.
3 July 2013 at 2:29 am #117206What are the pies like?
3 July 2013 at 3:22 am #117207I’ve never even been to Rhyl.Isn’t that like admitting you didn’t go to Goole Town away?
I’ve been twice to European games there – once v Skonto Riga and once v Partizan Belgrade.
The town itself though is a dump, except for a good chippy near the ground.

I’ve been to both Riga and Belgrade and never saw a “good chippy” in either.
3 July 2013 at 4:04 am #117209Bala Town 1-0 Levadia Tallinn
Perhaps Rhyl and its chip culture came as a shock to Levadia. Pies could be our secret weapon!
12 July 2013 at 2:53 pm #117731Mixed fortunes for the Welsh teams last night, although – unlike some teams – they all avoided embarrassing scores.
Lev Tallinn 3-1 Bala Town (agg 3-2)
Liepajas Metalurgs 1-2 Prestatyn Town (agg 3-3)
Prestatyn Town win 4-3 on penaltiesVentspils 0-0 Airbus UK (agg 1-1)
FK Ventspils win on Away Goal RulePrestatyn now travel to Croatia to play HNK Rijeka next Thursday. That doesn’t give them, or their fans, much time to make their travel arrangements.
Prestatyn also win 130,000 euros for progressing through the first qualifying round, taking their Europa League prize money up to 250,000 euros.
19 July 2013 at 4:39 am #118007Oh dear! Prestatyn lost 5-0 in Croatia. Rijeka striker Leon Benko scored a hat-trick.
20 July 2013 at 5:58 pm #118097I wouldn’t mind a trip to Linfield.
Don’t forget that we can also draw the teams that fail to qualify for the Champions League. A trip to Celtic anyone?
25 July 2013 at 12:01 am #118234Celtic go through to the Champions League third qualifying round – with a tie against Elfsborg – by beating Cliftonville 5-0 on aggregate.
Linfield face Skoda Xanthi tomorrow, with a 1-0 lead from the first leg. The winners play either KR Reykjavik or Standard Liege
I’d be happy with a trip to Belgium. Standard’s great rivals Club Brugge are also in the Europa League and play either Slask Wroclaw or Rudar Pljevlja in the next round.
