Looks an evil festive period for Latics.
3 away at grounds we rarely or never get anything and a home fixture against a team we rarely get anything either.
I reckon we need at least 7 points from these to stay in touch and at best I can see only 2.
Any thoughts?At least 5 points are needed. Wigan seem to have a habit of winning the unwinnable game, so it wouldn’t surprise me if its a loss at Blackburn, draw with Derby and then win at Forest and/or Birmingham.
Stoke & Luton have tricky fixtures too. But if you don’t get at least 5 points, I can see you and Barnsley being cut adrift by mid-Jan.
I stand by what I said, I don’t see us winning another game with Cook in charge tho I’m desperate to be proved wrong. Bottom by New Year and as mutt says starting to be cut adrift mid Jan. In true Latics fashion it will take an eternity for Choi to take control and by that time relegation will be almost assured. COYL.

I’ve worked in Blackburn as well, their a dismal bunch. Ewood is a bogey ground for us, half the time our team hasn’t even got off the bus when we’ve played there.

But, if we capitulate at Ewood, and theres a chance of it getting dark and moody at the Derby game, I think I will give it a miss, and let the kids stay on their Xbox’s as well. Cant be doing with letting the mood and stress of it all impinge on our Boxing day. Sod that, I’d rather not.
