I am actually dreading Mondays game. Been thinking of making the effort to go the Boxing Day game as no rush afterwards, no work or anything.
But, if we capitulate at Ewood, and theres a chance of it getting dark and moody at the Derby game, I think I will give it a miss, and let the kids stay on their Xbox’s as well. Cant be doing with letting the mood and stress of it all impinge on our Boxing day. Sod that, I’d rather not.[/quote]But it will get dark & moody. It usually goes dark by 3.30pm. Although we have now had the winter solstice, so the evenings will start to get lighter.
Why the hell would we care VAT if you watch Latics or not? You threaten every month your not gonna post on here yet turn up again with your tail between your legs. You threaten your not going to another game yet keep coming on a forum talking about the club. Last week you were saying you were going on the pitch with a Cook banner out but am sure that was another empty threat.
I love this club and will be around whichever league we play in and whomever we play under. We’ve enjoyed more good times than 90% of clubs in this country and if these are the bad times they ain’t too bad. Watching us play in one of the biggest leagues in the world against some massive clubs for the pittance we pay for our season tickets is OK by me. I still believe we will stay up and whether that’s under Cook or not I won’t be getting angry at games as he deserves our respect. The lads doing his best with a small budget and if he’s not up to the job that’s up to the powers to be to decide come the New Year. I’ve not watched us this season and felt we were second best in many games and a combination of bad luck, poor concentration and confidence have led us to where we are now. It won’t change our lives if Latics are in the Championship or League One FFS. Most of us will still be here enjoying the ride and getting behind the club regardless. For those that want to get off that’s your perogative.

I said I felt like making a point and going on the pitch…FELT LIKE IT, not that I was going to do it. I felt like that because no other fucker seems either arsed enough, or bothered.If our club does end up going the same way as Bolton, it will fold. People are far too apathetic to it all…theyll all be panicking when the club is being closed down. Theyll be interviewing Darren Orme and his uncle outside the stadium, and no other fucker will be anywhere near.

He actually spent 8.5 million on players with 3.5 recouped for Grigg so 5 million in total. Biggest earner Powell went and one of best young players in country James went back to Chelsea. Reading spent 8 million on a striker from Inter Milan. We bought a couple of league one players as that’s what our budget allows.

In fairness Vat, £10 million ain’t nowhere near what other clubs are spending/have spent. You sound as if £10 million in this day & age is a lot. Infact, you sound like Dr Evil in Austin Powers when he held his hostages to a ransom of $1 million & they p155ed their sides laughing.
I’m enjoying the Kipre & Beckenbauer combination at the back and looking forward to seeing where it goes.
