i will hold my hand up ….i am one of those just like yosser ..whelan treated the playing staff just like he did when running jjb
brought them in cheap then sold for profit untill it got to the stage where there was nothing much left to sell…now come on whelan is a buisness man only in it for what he got out of it….if you dont believe that well most folk must be blinkerd
we had enough money to run the club from tv revenue plus being in the prem
having worked for the guy you get to know how the guy works

Owning Wigan Athletic got him fame and the chance to get in front of a TV camera or national newspaper reporters every week – something that owning a chain of sports shops could never do.
He’s only lost money on the football club, but obviously feels it was worth it for the personal 6benefits it gave him.
But if you and Yosser honestly believe he’s managed to assemble a gang of master criminal accountants who’ve taken the books of a multi-million pound football club, and covered all trace of Whelan’s wrong-doings in order to publish financial reports showing the club has made a loss and is still in debt, crack on!
