Gibson will be out more than he is in. For a veteran he has played very few games for anyone.Didn’t he get arrested for d&d driving to see the physio ?. I just hope he can maintain his fitness otherwise it’s a told waste of a signing like Cole

Needs to dominate his area but hes like a rabbit in headlights with crosses the rest of his game is fine.Roberts?? If Max wasnt up to playing defensive midfield in the Championship then Gary flamin Roberts certainly isn’t.
Gibson will be out more than he is in. For a veteran he has played very few games for anyone.It would be a worst case scenario if Powell, Gibson, Evans, Connolly, McDonald or Naismith were all out injured.
In the unlikely event they were all out injured it would become a problem but even then one of the defenders could step forward and be covered by another defender.
Max has been loaned out on the same terms as Evans has been loaned in, with the fee agreed and contracts agreed and to be signed on January 1st, so there is really no reason to even talk about Max as he is no longer our player.Can understand why folk are blaming Walton for first goal but unsure as to how he can be blamed for second and third when you watch them back.

Second was a corner which I thought he should be catching as was in the 6 yd box, did say may be harsh to blame him for the third but there were a few ither crosses which he should be taking in the 6 yd box.
Walton is terrible at the moment. Villas first was embarrassing & third he should have done better. He was at fault for Wednesdays first and he was at fault for at least one at Rangers.
Defence is wobbly but sure they will get better the more games they get under their belt.Going forward we look ace and lots to be positive about. But if Walton carries on like this then he needs to be dropped.

I hope the club haven’t tied themselves into another ridiculous player contract. Wasn’t that the case with Bogdan?

Everyone sang his praises last season & were over the moon when he returned on loan. Give the lad a break & let the defence get used to each other as well. We’re only 2 games in.

This lad is a differet class and should be given time and patience. From what I have seen of him so far, the defenders are as much to blame as Walton.
Once they gel, and get settled I am sure Walton will be okay and the goals against will dry up a bit.
I never expected him to be going for the ‘golden glove’ this season such is the difference in class at this level compared to League One.
With the calibre of teams in this league we might get a few stuffings along the way, but the early signs are positive and on the whole we look to be more than capable of holding our own.
