Great point deserved all 3.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!6 April 2019 at 9:39 pm #177848Could be a crucial one that
6 April 2019 at 10:40 pm #177849Fantastic point….how valuable could that be come May. What a goal from Reece James…..christ knows what price tag he’ll have now.!!!
6 April 2019 at 11:16 pm #177850Great point but hopefully we don’t rue the crazy points we have dropped on our travels this season. Would have felt much better if we had had the guile to have defeated Brentford last week for example. But onwards to Hull and hopefully we can end this away day run of not winning.
6 April 2019 at 11:22 pm #177851We’ve looked like dead men walking for 4-5 months, with nothing to suggest we’ll turn that around. In isolation today was a good point, in the context of other results, it’s two points dropped. Another match ticked off in our inextricable slide towards the bottom three. TBH, I cannot see us winning away again. A point at Hull is probably our only opportunity to put points on the board.
At home you never know. Norwich could be one of those games, Preston may have nothing to play for, Millwall could be make or break. Our (realistic) max haul is something around 7pts. I think we’ll get 4pts and be biting our fingernails.
Was a massive strategic mistake not to replace Cook before the January window.
6 April 2019 at 11:31 pm #177852Didn’t expect anything today so deffo a point gained at a ground we have seldom done well at.
Looking at the remaining fixtures The home form will be key and I have a weird feeling our away jinx is about to end.
Six points at least from the last six games is my prediction.
Very important result today7 April 2019 at 12:49 am #177854Good point but from a game that we bossed we should have got all 3. Granted before the game I would have took a point but after watching the game and the way the game panned out I feel we threw 2 points away with stupid blunders at the back and glorious chances missed.
Good sides do have off days but we’re just good enough to capitalise on it like Millwall did today or even Rotherham.7 April 2019 at 2:17 am #177857We almost did capitalise but hit the post.

Chances missed with a lone striker with three midfield players behind him is less of a worry. We set up for a point and got one even when we needed three but that’s a point gained.

Before the game I would have taken a point and a point is what we got.
But, as the game went on Bristol City were not playing well, they were having an off day and all 3 points were there for the taking.
Poor finishing and sloppy defending yesterday. We have to hope the better clubs have an off day then take advantage.
Bristol City travel well away wins at Middlesbrough and Sheff Utd but they hadn’t won at home in now their last 5 games.
Looking at the recent home form table before today I was more fearful of Hull City on Wednesday than Bristol City.
Hull rarely score less than 2 at home and haven’t lost at home since the end of November.
When teams have an off day at this stage of the season we have to raise our game. Bar the mad 3-4 minutes when they scored and some awful defending and good chances missed we had the game in the palm of our hand, is was their for the taking and when a game pans out like that we need to take all 3.I’d take 2 points against Leeds and Norwich right now, as it stands but if either of them two sides are play sh1t on the day and say we nick a goal then I’d expect us to step it up and claim all 3 as Millwall did.
We need to capitalise when other teams put in a poor performance/off day because when they play well we all know we can’t match them right now.7 April 2019 at 1:04 pm #177866I think two draws and a win will
Be enough.
The Bristol city manager gave us some praise which surely they have to take on board to Dull city.7 April 2019 at 1:18 pm #177868Johnson knew they got off lightly
7 April 2019 at 4:56 pm #177875I think I’ll be wearing adults Pampers for the rest of this season as I really do think it could down to last game. A good performance yesterday and a valuable point but our defending at times was frightening and this winless away streak must surely end before the season does.

If we stay up fine if we don’t well it’s possible we may see a few more wins next season.
It’s only football at the end of the day.8 April 2019 at 11:09 am #177884We played well on Saturday but poor defending let us down. I hate to say it but I think our season will be based on results of those around us as I just cannot see were we’ll pick up points.
