Over many years, going back to the Geoff Wright days, Latics fans have had to have a whipping boy.
If it wern’t Gomez, it would be somebody else.Kevin Langley was another whipping boy during both his spells with us.
The Dali reference gives us a tantalising glimpse into a mind that is perhaps best described as ‘creative’. The appetite is truly whetted, surely we are due another song?
I remember when Peter Kennedy was the favourite son of the JJB’s negativado’s, he played in a team that got 100 points, it is not just since we got to the Prem that some fans have failed miserably to manage their expectations.
