…. that was today apart from the result. Two teams having a go and playing neat football in the process. After watching the shoite at meadow lane and Ewood that was a breath of fresh air. Play like that for the rest of the season and we’ll be alright.
Just need Scotland and Rodallega to get their shooting boots on!!From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!30 January 2010 at 9:58 pm #20565:roll:
30 January 2010 at 9:59 pm #205662nd half was just a scrappy crappy affair resulting in us conceding yet again another goal from a set piece ! As for Scotland listen carefully because I am only going to say it once….He is NOT good enough full stop ! Remove your rose tinted glasses, wake up and smell the coffee !
30 January 2010 at 10:10 pm #20569And you think rodders is, on the recent performances, take yours off sunbeam.
I honestly think Scotland played well today, much better than Hugo in fact. The ball he played to hugo for that early chance was superb. He created his own chance when shooting high and wide and made a great run to latch onto the shot that went pass the near post. Great link up play all through the game.
You are probably like the pilluck who sits behind me who shouted “ger off scotlund” at 3.03pm!!

What a journey!30 January 2010 at 10:14 pm #20571No I didnt shout that !! I just sat there shaking my head when he hit row Z when through on goal I then stood up looking round and shouted ” I rest my case ” ! In fact I did that twice !!
30 January 2010 at 10:16 pm #20573Did you do the same when rodders was through one and one with the keeper and feked up??
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!30 January 2010 at 10:21 pm #20574What about the two penalty misses, did they have you resting your cases??
The point is, I know he should have scored at least 6 or 7 this season, but the lads effort is second to none. There are others that cost us the points today, yet the daggers are only out for JS.
Look at the bigger picture boys!!

Just need Scotland and Rodallega to get their shooting boots on!!That’s not what Dowie said reporting for Gillette Soccer Saturday.
30 January 2010 at 10:48 pm #20580some people are easily pleased, how on earth you can call that a great game today just beggars belief .I have seen great games down the years and i am afraid to say todays game was not one of them.

Come on. none pine apple head should at least be making the keeper work from that range.i would like to see him score but it just wont happen for him. look at the scousers not their biggest of players but he knows were the net is.yeah there is a few more on the pitch dragging their feet and strolling about but thats bobby.s job to sort it out.

31 January 2010 at 1:30 am #20605Do you know, the more I see of that lot who sit on that panel, the more I think “Gobshytes”.
They sit there, with their ‘expert’ analasys, yet most of them have never ever had a go at managment, or if they have, they were useless at it. Especially Dowie. In fact, apart from the nice wedge he gets for going on it, I wonder why our ex manager partakes in it? Ok, after Derby he might fancy a break from the game. But he is far better than that.
Don’t forget this is the programme that gave Rodney Marsh his platform, and then he got sacked for his Toon Army ‘Tsunami’ joke, which was badly judged.
I’ve been a fan of Stelling, but I’ve gone right off Sky Sports, to tell you the truth. They play on every bit of controversy, and frankly, it does my head in. And how can somebody like Le Tissier have a go at anyone? When he never had the bottle to leave Southampton and go to a ‘big’ club.
