26 October 2009 at 7:20 pm #11216All he needs to do is hire Stevie G’s briefs and he’ll be reet.
If he is guilty i hope he gets the book thrown at him. Can’t stand that attitde ” I am amillionaire and out of your league” not to mention hitting women, cowardly to say the least.
There are money grabbers out there though and i hope justice gets done either way.26 October 2009 at 7:22 pm #11217The woman responded by saying: “Don’t do that, it’s not nice. Don’t touch me.”
Of course she did, word for word :|
26 October 2009 at 7:54 pm #11220Can we terminate his contract if he is found guilty? I hope so.
26 October 2009 at 8:02 pm #11221I’m sure we can terminate his contract if he’s found guilty, I’d be interested to know though whether we could sue him for losing out on any potential transfer fee as I would think if he is found guilty he’s likely to recieve a prison sentence
26 October 2009 at 8:38 pm #11223yes, we could terminate his contract.
not a chance of suing for lost profit from a potential transfer fee.
Im an employment solicitor dont you know but not a multi millionaire.
26 October 2009 at 8:58 pm #11225I thought the Mutu case established a precedent in that for breach of contract we would be able to sue him for a lost transfer fee.
However more disturbing is the fact that a scumbag like king who is nothing more than a average footballer can become a millionaire!

27 October 2009 at 12:43 pm #11299Mutu was banned from playing for his wrongdoing – hence the breach of contract claim. King’s contract would (if convicted) presumably be terminated on grounds of frustration should he be sent down.
Its basically a way of terminating a contract because a 3rd party has done something over which you have no control – ie: being put in prison. latics could terminate the contract but king couldnt because it was his wrongdoing that put him there (hopefully)
27 October 2009 at 12:58 pm #11301Surely its breach of contract or gross misconduct!
Im pretty sure he must have it written into the contract that he aderes to a code of conduct or that he behaves in a respectable manner!
Im sure we can get a transfer fee for him. Only problem is because hes coming to the end of his deal it would be minimual. In fact wed probably only get whatever signing on fee he could agree with another club unless Daves kept records of the amount he was worth before this happened and how much Hull would of paid!
