Thanks for the constructive criticism Griff, but I’d like to think my article had a little bit of quality?
My point was, don’t churn something out just for the sake of it.
And another thing. People will queue up to slag you off. If you’re not prepared for that, don’t bother. And definitely don’t fight back against every single comment.
I quite liked the article and thought it was interesting. May I suggest getting someone to quickly check the grammar next time, if you’re not comfortable (or give yourself more time if you are)as it would then improve the presentation. I liked the statistics about the Argentinian hooligan problem, and like you said at least you had a go. I’d say well done.
It’s actually alright, some aspects are wrong though, whilst it’s a stereotype to think that hooligans are all Fred Perry, cap wearing unemployed idiots, in the end thats all it is. Well they are idiots.
I did a dissertation on this at Uni, it was actually quite interesting stuff. (Just the research mind) You’d be suprised as to what some so-called hooligans do for a living, and I reckon now that its not really a massive problem over here as compared to the likes of Italy and as you touched on Argentina.
At least you had a pop.
Ok guys, cheers for your comments and advice I’ll bare them in mind next time, and the whole point of a good article (in my view anyway) is to create debate, so I achieved that at least.
Hooligans let face it Wigan have never really had any they just think they players look to cause trouble in front of the Police knowing when they are getting spanked they will help them. I also think that Wigan Police especially the Football i think they call them spotters have rooted out the idiots good riddance to bad rubbish and well done Wigan Police i say. :D

God, even when I have been out of the country for a week, and not even seen a computer, I can start threads on here, my powers know no bounds.Back to the serious side, sorry if my article didn’t please you all, but at least I had a go, if you think you can do better, then why don’t you?
And to be honest, I don’t think anything I wrote was brownie, so Scoffy, you’re saying that you disagree with me and that football hooliganism is actually a good thing? If not, then please state to me which part of the article you think is two veg, that goes to however else said it was bull aswell, I can’t be arsed to go and check who.
And yeah, I did use wikipedia as my source, but I had to use something didn’t I? If I had used any other website I don’t think anyone would have cared, just because I use wikipedia should it be any different. Plus, info on this kind of thing is limited due to it’s private nature, so I didn’t have many sources to pick from.

Duke, please tell me where i wrote that i thought hooliganism is a good thing. I put that the article is bad which it is, most of it is pure shite
