Griff Captain Caldwell is getting £25,000 and Bosselli was supposed to be on £35,000 so I’m afraid your arguement falls down. The reason we can’t get players in is that Bob is taking us down and why would a Championship player come up to the Premiership for 3 months???I’m not sure you really meant to prove my point, but thanks anyway. The last time I looked £25k was substantially less than the £40k we paid Bramble. And Boselli is not on £35k per week.

If paying £10m for Peter Crouch and giving him £60k per week in wages is what it takes then I’d say yes, they are too far away for us to aspire to.
