More likely they need a reason for selling to appease the stock exchange other than “its easier to dodge tax if choi owns it on his own”
20 February 2020 at 12:26 pm #185197Just cant get my head round this one IEC are a loss making company their account report shows this dr stanley is chairman
Now dr stanley is taking 51% of the latics and another individual who unknown far has i know the other 49%
Now this is the point dr stanley controls IEC and will also control the latics
Now story was the latics where being transferd into an account created by dr stanley so that the day to day running of the latics will not be shown on the hong kong stock market making it better for them to transfer funds into the latics without it being shown on the hong kong stock market as the chinese and hong kong laws are very strict on transfering money from china to country’s outside china
Now thinking about it dr stanley (IEC) took out a lone to purchase the latics not directley by himself financially
But in the name of IEC
Now has i said IEC are a loss making company no money whatsoever to play about with needed a loan to purchase us how did the FA or league allow this takeover to happen
And if you look at or try to find how much wealth dr stanley is worth you will draw a blank very alarming
Maybe someone bought us on the cheap to try make a quick buck which selling us now will be very hard as i see it who would want to20 February 2020 at 12:47 pm #185198You can draw whichever conclusion you like. Those wanting another stick to beat the club with will find one and those wanting to give them a chance will find reasons to do so.
None of us know, but the ‘fact’ is that we aren’t for sale at all our ownership is being transferred from one name to another. Like Whelan moving us from Whelco to Dave Whelan Ltd
20 February 2020 at 7:45 pm #185201So IEC are selling WAFC to IEC’s chairman who will continue to be IEC’s chairman?
Sounds like some internal deal going on, probably to legally avoid some sort of tax due.
I doubt its going to change anything, and I don’t see how Brexit would affect anything going forward – its not like there’s been millions of Euros pumped into the club or the area over the past few years – more likely a proper Remoaner edited the yahoo article!
