What a journey!Why didn’t they show the disallowed goal for offside when the player interfering with play was near the corner flag? What a shambles.

Listened to cooks comments on wish on the way home and he seemed to be happy with a clean sheet and a draw. These are the teams we need to be beating at home, had our chances but didn’t take them again.

That’s a first and I bet will never be replayed embarrassing for ref and assistant.We started the season off well and are clearly missing the players who are out Injured, I think the squad is not as strong as we first thought so need to strengthen in January.

Had the goal come from a direct corner it would have stood as you can’t be offside directly from a corner but if you take a short one and receive the ball back in an offside position then it’s a free kick ! You would think that they know this shit in training. On saying that, opposing teams tend to have one if not two on the goal line for corners. Today they didn’t!
After 4 straight defeats and some pretty poor defending I’m quite happy with a clean sheet and a draw. We’ve stopped the rot and now we can hopefully kick on on Wednesday night.
Well Rovers are no great shakes so another draw should be in our grasp.
Last year at home games sides came to park the bus because the opposition feared our attacking prowess.
Maybe Cooky heard something about the attacking capabilities of Reading yesterday.

My point was you need to be interfering with play to be offside so how was that possible when the goal was scored nearly 30 yards away?
