We were in the queue on wembley way, lots of millwall fans and a fair few Wiganers. All had colours showing and flags. Didn’t see any trouble, just singing at each other.

Sorry lads n lasses but you play into their hands being all colours put away etc

Couple of us on Wembley Way got stopped by the police nr the top and under the bridge an there was nothing even approaching hassle. In fact one lad said something about there be 30000 angry Millwall and I leaned over and said your not really angry are you? Why would you be? Ended up having a chat and one of the lads saying he’d support us if we got Chelsea in the final.

There was over half an hour in total of being stood still in the rain and they could have easily kicked off if they’d wanted to.

          Yeah, agree with that.

We came out and I had my scarf on. A Millwall fan came past us near our coaches, he looked a bit of a wideboy, I was cautious…..he offered his hand and said “well done, well played”. I said thanks and “unlucky mate”.

Shame that a minority of idiots spoil it for the rest. I’m sure there are some proper salt of the earth folk amongst their support. Its a shame the idiots get the limelight. Having said that, it appears that they are willing to use their rough reputation, like when they all roar and sing ” No one likes us…we don’t care”
Even their club song ‘Let em come’ courts their reputation!

Oh, and if I was Kenny Jackett I would be asking where they all are the rest of the time. Crazy how they turn out for big games.

Had a few close shaves before the game on tube to Baker Street and then in the pubs round there. Me and my mate heard some fans stood next to us, saying Wigan wouldn’t dare to come up here.

Never supped my pint so fast and adopted my cockney walk.

            pmsl , lol,

I was caught up in the crowd heading for the tube, a few fights broke out before the police jumped in.
The guys from Millwall who were shhithousing were in there late 40’s 50’s.

fair play to the latics fan who stood toe to toe with em before the the young millwall schit himself and rang his m8’s to give em a hand. there were 3 wigan 30 millwall at the time.

scum of the earth, I’d re-open Belsen and throw the old geezers in.

We were in 504, but a friend (who works for Latics corporate hospitality) was in 502 eith his young lad & was massively upset both by the behaviour of the Millwall prats and the unwillingness to get involved of the stewards.

Such a shame – he reckoned it spoiled his day.

I was in 502, never noticed any trouble.

If you watch the main TV footage of the trouble there’s a shot of a young girl crying in a beige jacket with what seems to be her dad in a flat cap at the side leaning over shaking someone’s hand and kinda gesturing it’s wrong and my girls all upset.

Now rewind the same video clip and watch closely at the bit were the Millwall are all piling into a bobbie who’s trapped in the tunnel entrance.

You will make out his flat cap and him charging in and throwing punches at him then quickly trying to get out the way.this is at 8 seconds into the clip

I think he’s daughter will be doing some more crying when she’s waiting for a visiting pass to visit her dad in her Majesty’s 1 star hotel.

No doubt there’ll be a few getting the 3 oclock breakfast wake up call from the police.

                With todays technology, how stupid.

The seats in block 502 immediately adjacent to the segregated area beyond which the Millwall fans were located were empty. This attracted a few Wigan lads and the enevitable baiting started. This drew more Wigan fans to the area which escallated the situation. The stewards and police then got involved and the situation was eventually defused. It was particularly unpleasant for anyone seated in that area especially those with young kids. I saw one bloke at half-time take himself and his two children to another area to escape the aggrevation.

Was talking to a couple with a young lad in a wheel chair in our hotel on Saturday night. She said a big rough Millwall fan took a shine to her son as they were pushing his wheel chair down Wembley way after the game. She said he came over to him shook his hand and gave him £20.00 and then proceeded to walk in front of them moving everyone aside until they got to the tube station. Must say quite a few Millwall fans came up to us In London after the game and shook our hands and said ‘Good Luck, you deserved it no complaints’ It’s just the ‘BOYS’ of the old brigade from 30 years ago that want to perpetuate this “WE ARE MILLWALL” mentality. Like in every walk of life there are decent people.

The Millwall fans we spoke to after the game were sound.

Hand shakes all round, admitted we deserved it and wished us good luck in the final.

We returned the favour, wished them all the best for the rest of the season and we went our seperate ways – no issues.

Not saying that they don’t have their fair share of idiots, but they also have their fair share of genuinely decent fans.

Saw one kick off at Wembley Park station but this seemed to be 2 Millwall having a go at each other and loads of transport police appeared from nowhere. Atmosphere seemed generally hostile but not particularly anti Wigan. One middle aged bloke gave my lad his programme and said ‘we’re not all bad’.

Saw one tic fan get punched to floor en route to tube after match, quite clear he wasn’t your typical sort looking for grief. Those responsible we’re a group of 18 year old youths, clearly offspring of those from yesteryear. They swiftly sought sanctuary in midst of their support, sums em up really. lets hope the guys ok. The walk back to tube was quite an unpleasant experience.

Wasn’t the block next to segregation 501?

I saw nothing, could see them standing up giving it all the ‘come on!’, but we were sat on seats in 502, a good block and half away. Didn’t really take much notice.

We ended up in the middle of a load of Millwall fans heading to the tube station. The Mrs got separated from me and had some obnoxious moron mouthing off at her, poking fun that we hadn’t sold out allocation and we were a rugby town blah-blah-blah. The lads walking behind him apologised for ‘their idiot fans’.

                          Mixed bag with ‘em really.

I was in 502 and it happened about 20ft away from where I was sat.

Look Sammy, if you want to see a picture of my ticket, wait til tomorrow. I’m uploading pics off Flickr tomorrow. Can’t do it via my mobile, need to be sat on desktop. Incidentally, my seat number was 60. 5 rows from front, not far off a TV camera and blokes near it had a banner ‘wigan twinned with Barcelona’ on it. They lay it on meshing in front of them.

                              Pics coming tomorrow. Morning hopefully.

No trouble near us at all.
