ABL you are right, it took place in 501, we were near you in 502 row 7 and it was at the netting, It wasnt really trouble in the same sense as the stuff down below.
Wiganers were taunting and singing at Millwall at the other side, when Maloney scored I happened to turn round and the Millwall fans were trying to get across the netting, the stewards stopped them, the police piled in and dragged a few out, I got up to go for a pee just after and there was some scuffling/pushing and ejecting of some of the Millwall group, looked worse than it probably was.
When we went downstairs at half time lots of Millwall fans were having a do at the lunatics behind them who were swearing back at them and giving it the c’mon and have a go stuff.
I feel ever so sorry for ordinary millwall fans having to be branded by this scum.
it was in 501.i was in there and the millwall fans were jumping on the segregation meshing trying to get into the wigan end.coins also being thrown into the wigan end.
How can you all remember what block you were in? I barely knew which city I was in.
I think I saw you going down the steps at the end. Did you have a light blue top on? I was a few steps behind you. Everybody piled down that exit which was further round from my block of 502, exit was probably more near 505 section, I think.
I was very sober. Not paying nearly £5 for a pint in there. And I still have my ticket….I’d suggest people keep hold of them. Might be needed for Final ticket preference sales.

Not all are Scum. Some good honest fans. Spoke to quite a few on tube back to SIdcup where I was staying. One even gave my little boy a semi final badgee. Most honest and apprecaited we were better team. Shame a few idiots spoil it for honest fans.

I thought I saw you on tv Griff just before kick off. Was one of the guys with you sort of rubbing your head or something similar, like messing about ?

I’ve no idea how you expect me to remember that.[/quote]
To be honest, I’ve only just snapped out of being shattered today, myself. Reminded me how I felt after doing gigs of a weekend, but if anything, the 5 hour journey home on Saturday totally fecked me up more.
Got sleep about half 2 on Sun Morning…..woke up at half 7 by a banging gate that had blown open. Got up to shut it and been shattered ever since. It only really hit me last night.

I would remember if one of my mates had his arm round my neck and was vigorously rubbing my head ! :)
