    Ooh, nice one. :?

    15-all

    Granted a good reply!!

That said, they are 4 games we’ve got somet from out of 13 we’ve played against top half/champions league challenging teams. That & the fact we’ve only won 1 league game in nigh on 3 months would indicate that at present we’re far more likely to get nowt from the Brum & Liverpool games than we are to get somet

    Or, we are due one.

All depends on your outlook on life, really

So I mustn’t be a proper fan then?

you said that not me, clearly you are getting upset and confused

      Get f*cked.

no thanks, and you are clearly possess little intellect if that’s the way you have to respond

Is St Andrews that much harder to go to than Stoke or Sunderland? Where we got a draw in both games and had chances to win both games? Liverpool hardly pulling up trees at minute. After that Bolton (A) and Burnley (H). Sounds like you actually want us to lose rather than believe we can get summat from these games. If you don’t think we’re going to get any more points this season then don’t bother coming again. You could go and stand outside Christopher Park instead with a SACK ROBERTO banner and we’ll all laugh at you when you’re red face pops up on Sky Sports. Otherwise grow up, put you’re dummy back in and learn to support a football club going through tough times[/quote]

Little intellect? Well, for a start, I know we are shyte, but you……oh, never mind. True though, my “Get F*cked” jibe WAS poor. I’ll give you that one for free.

“Tough Times”. Ok, so I never went in the worst days, did I not? So I wasn’t one of 1,200 and odd against Chesterfield, was I? But no, of course, EVERYBODY was there, weren’t they?

“Don’t think we’ll get any points this season”. I think we’ll get another 5 or 6 points. At Bolton away, Burnley at home, Portsmouth at home, Hull at home. Be surprised to get anything from away trips to City, Fulham, and West Ham. Don’t even mention Chelsea away, on last day. 12 games left, including Liverpool, City, Arsenal, and Chelsea.

“Liverpool hardly pulling up trees”. In Gerrard and Torres alone, they have two players who can win games on their own. Then you have Kuyt, Bennayoun, etc, etc.

As for Sunderland away, Kenwynne Jones was our best defender that day, blocking Bent’s effort on our line. (Or had you forgotton?) But for that, we’d have lost that game.

No, I don’t stand anywhere with banners. Thanks.

Fairy nuff Tyldesley, I ain’t denying that we are in the s h i t. Well we’re not in the s h i t but we have been dangling perilously above it and it’s starting to whiff a bit. I just believe in looking forward to the next game rather than dwelling on the last one.

I said possibly take three points, I didn’t guarantee it you clown. We did it at Wolves, Villa, Burnley and have drawn at Sunderland and Stoke, our away form isn’t that bad. The players probably feel a lot more comfortable without tools like you in the ground slagging them off.

What sort of fan are you that you’ve just accepted defeat a week before the game is even played. Talk about talking us down.

Spurs were better than us but even after a blatant offside goal, the game was still close on 80 minutes. latics pushed forward and got caught, spurs got their second and cue all the hysterical bellends like you to launch a tirade

At least if we got relegated you might disappear off back from where you came, I don’t care how many games you’ve been to, you certainly weren’t using the old cockney latics forum in the lower division

I have posted for longer than I care to remember on all the old versions of all the message boards and I don’t ever remember any ‘scholescontrol’ perhaps your username has evolved over the years !

while I am here I would like to pick upon a few of the points you have made,

the players and management have had an easy ride in the ground this season and the ” slagging off ” as you put it has been negligible, the booing has also only gathered pace since the notts county debacle, so insinuating it is effecting their performances is some way wide of the mark – as I remember there was not many wiganers left in the grounds to boo after the away debacles at blackpool, pompey, spurs and man u,so what effected the players on those occasions.

my next point covers all the things you say about away games and last night as well – you say that we have a decent away record,it is as you say the best in the bottom half of the table,
what you don’t go on to say is that at stoke ,sunderland and in the losses away at blackburn and everton martinez and his lack of ideas cost us perhaps as many as 8 points not to mention the fulham – blackburn and stoke home games where his tactics again cost us points that would have us sitting in mid table safety now,
I am not counting the points dropped by bad performances or being outplayed by the other team just where martinez made gross errors,

in the game last night disgusting performances from the officials and a poor pitch did cost us but to say that “latics pushed forward and got caught” by spurs is a joke,
we went 4-4-2 and started to get a foothold in the game until the tosser on the half way line changed it and once again the players looked bereft of any idea and spurs took full control.

you berate people for saying not to expect anything against birmingham or liverpool, form has everything to do with that opinion, you go on to add about people “giving up before the game has been played” so tell me why they shouldn’t , after all we have a manager who cannot stop his team “giving up” every time we concede one goal.

So in summary Loudmouth you believe that Wigan Athletic’s rightful place is mid table nestled in just behind the likes of Villa, Spurs, Everton and City

I believe that given that we have one of the smallest transfer budgets in the division, the smallest crowds in the division, therefore the smallest gate reciepts, one of the poorest chairman, Kilby at Burnley is worth £4million, the rest are much welthier than Whelan, except perhaps at Pompey. Our current manager has inherited a squad which did finish in mid table a year ago but half of that team was sold off in January and the summer and a fraction of it put back in because Whelan is paying off debts because the club can’t sustain the outgoings. Well we aren’t doing too bad after five seasons

You clearly hate Roberto but don’t seem to offer any solutions as to who should be the manager, Mourinho, Van Gaal or Rijkaard perhaps?? and what miracles they should be expected to work under such tight financial restrictions. Maybe you’d like Steve Bruce back, I’m sure he could do a good job, maybe if we trebled his transfer budget and wage bill, gave him a £30m strike force and another 20,000 fans, he might have been…oh that’s right a whole two points further on than Roberto.

Seeing as you hate the manager so much to call him a tosser, and instead of repeating the same old diatribe over and over again on here while some of us are trying to support the club whilst recognising the situation we are in. I suggest you put your money where your mouth is and get down to Christopher Park along with Vat69 with your Martinez Out banner. Get yourself on Sky Sports. Sorry that you’ve given up, a football club is about ups and downs. It seems some on here have such delusions of grandeur that they seem to think Wigan Athletic is now too precious to suffer any downs any more and would rather spit their dummies than try and support the club to help them turn it around.

I respect your opinion and know I’m not going to change it, nor Tyldesley or any others of the dark side but your criticisms of Roberto seem to centre around the fact he has lost points, how many points did Steve Bruce lose from January last season? How many points did Jewell lose when we nearly got relegated. You are criticising him for going to Everton, Stoke and Sunderland and not winning?? That would be Everton with 120 years history now challenging for Europe, Stoke who can afford to spend £12m on Huth and Tuncay and Sunderland who are owned by a billionaire not a market stall owner done well? Get real, he’s not perfect and he’s making mistakes but he is probably the only manager we could afford. I don’t know whether he’ll turn it around but like it or not we are where we are, scrapping near the bottom with the clubs like Bolton, Blackburn, Hull, Burnley etc – all of whom are miles bigger than us in terms of infrastructure, history and fanbase and if the smallest club in the premier do manage to stay up it will be a real achievement, again.

A very good post in my opinion Scholes, but it will be discounted as blinkered and deluded.

Of course it will, he’s just a Superfan and no-nowt like many of us, when all’s said and done.

Great post but you sound like James Joyce trying to explain the finer points of Ulysses to Tweedle-Dum. May I suggest you are wasting your time and would be better off going for a brisk walk.

Can you imagine going in to battle with some of this lot? Morale would be sky-high wouldn’t it?

PS Notice who has assumed the role of Tweedle-Dee? (clue: he comes from Skelm)

Each time I turn on the TV, open a newspaper, or listen to the radio there is some smarmy **** talking Latics down, we don’t need our own fans doing it.

If we’d have threw in the towel when things were tough during previous seasons we wouldn’t even have won Premiership promotion, let alone stayed in this division.
