3 May 2010 at 7:33 pm #31611Certainly the worst keeper to play in the Premiership this season by quite some way.
Myhill looked world class by comparison, and he’s Hulls second choice keeper!

Amazing comparison that… Considering Myhill is their first choice Keeper and he didn’t even play today. Duke was in their net!

3 May 2010 at 8:05 pm #31616From the Telegraph’s report:
“It was a classy finish from the 19 year-old, but his attacking talents were soon compromised by the frailties of the hapless Vladimir Stojkovic. The goalkeeper had started shakily, punching at crosses and hesitating on his line, and Atkinson’s equaliser was a result of Stojkovic’s bewildering decision not to catch a routine cross by Boateng.
By punching the ball, Stojkovic allowed Kevin Kilbane to cross back into the penalty area for Atkinson to head in his first goal for Hull. The Wigan supporters, wise to Stojkovic’s eccentricities, began to cheer ironically whenever he subsequently caught the ball. “

3 May 2010 at 8:20 pm #31622I burst out laughing when he decided to “save” the cross in the build up to the first goal.
Bring this lad on for comedy value at the end of each season when we are safe :D3 May 2010 at 8:22 pm #31623Not done anything wrong this match. Actually I like him to be honest! and he clattered one of them men..wouldn’t see Kirkland doing that.
? :geek:
is this based on him punching the ball straight to their player for the 2nd goal (when he could of caught inbetween his backside), he punches pretty much everything he could catch for that matter. he made 1 good save at city before jumping into a challenge with the message, “go on tevez son, i’m not gunna get anywhere near this.” (the 1st of the 3 goals)glad he’s only on loan. we might as well get filan back.

How the hell he gets in the team before Pollitt only Martinez knows.

So which ever way you spin it, both of Hulls keepers are significantly better than Stojkovic. As a team we aren’t good enough to accomodate even a couple of players who are off the Premiership pace.
Gomez once again showed a couple of flicks but had no influence on the game, while Scotland fluffed his chance in front of goal.
