If they’re messing around playing games already, holding off from showing Whelan some hard moola, then I hope he looks elsewhere for a buyer. I doubt the reports about Whelan having concerns have come from Whelan himself and are more likely to have come from people who claim to “know someone” when in reality they’ve heard it from someone who’s been thinking out loud & has no evidence to back it up

I’m more concerned about who’ll be running the club after the take over, as both Sharpe and JJ are lifelong Latics fans – who understand the quirks and unique traits of your average Wiganer.
Nobody knows what’s really going on. It’s pointless people jumping up and down over baseless rumours and picking out a villain. Maybe the delay is down to really genuine due diligence taking place instead of lip service that happened with Portsmouth and the like.

Standish, I’m sure I have read somewhere that David could still be on the board. Obviously it could be speculation but it would make sense to have someone who knows the day to day running if the new owners aren’t planning on being fully hands on.
