I know the exact numbers as of last Thursday, hence why I have typed that above…. We are expecting the total top out at less than 20,000, I think mainly because people are taking the risk on us winning and getting to the final.
Oh to see their faces if they can’t get a final ticket!!!!!!
And that means should we get to the Final only around 2,500 ticket will be available to those who didn’t go to the semi Final…..
Big risk for those who are chancing it…..
is that how they would sell them for the final ?[/quote]
The Club has a problem if it comes to us reaching the final. You have X amount of season ticket holders that haven’t used their allocation and on a survey it is because they hoping for us to get to the final. Then you have the ones that have Supported the team by making the trip to the semi final.
All I can say is, EVERY other club favours the one’s that go to the Semi Final – the wrath/whinging/complaints from those ‘season ticket holders’ that “couldn’t make the Semi, because XXXXX”, would be a lot less than the one from those that actually went.
As I’ve said before, our REAL fans will have got tickets by now, and they will be the ones making ALL the noise in our end.
We can take as many day trippers as we want, but they’d just be an arse on a seat. They probably couldn’t give a flying f*ck if we won or not, and they definitely wouldn’t be “adding to the atmosphere”.
Yes it’d look better on TV screens if we took more, but so what?
Big crowds don’t win you matches.
I’d rather have 10000 true die-hard fans there than 30000 clowns who are just there for the experience/day out.

I also heard we’d sold 19k as of last Monday so, 20k will be there or there abouts.
I would agree with the club if they gave preference to those going to the semi as a reduced allocation means there’ll be a big rush for tickets. If we get to the final everyone who went to the semi should get first refusal and whatever is left should be sold to season ticket holders initially at 2 per season ticket.
Firstly, ST holders who can produce a semi final ticket. Ticket office need to stamp/mark the semi ticket on the issue of the final ticket.
Secondly, ST holders who didn’t attend the semi.
Thirdly, none ST holders with a semi ticket.
Fourthly, general sale.
Probably be some debate about people with no ST but a semi ticket having preference over a ST holder who didn’t go the semi. But you get the idea. Can’t please everybody.
I would imagine every ST holder will get one. I was given a number on Saturday but it differs slightly to that that Jay has given but lets just say the number of fans I’ve been telling you all we have for years is about right.
If we take 20k then that will be ok. Not great but a lot better than the misery figures of 13k or 15k that were being banded around recently.
Looks like Millwall could get another 10k tickets then?
