If we take 20k then that will be ok. Not great but a lot better than the misery figures of 13k or 15k that were being banded around recently.

There are plenty on here who go mad about the media’s apparent dislike of Wigan because we are a “small club”. But some make excuses for a poor turnout to convince themselves it is ok?

I know a guy who works for the club. Friends with my old man. He was convinced we would sell 90% of our allocation but says there’s more than he expected giving it a miss.
I would imagine every ST holder will get one. I was given a number on Saturday but it differs slightly to that that Jay has given but lets just say the number of fans I’ve been telling you all we have for years is about right.

Less than that quoted on here. I’m presuming it is tickets sold through the ticket office only as opposed to including those sold to players families and sponsors etc.

If it is close to 20k then nothing to worry about. That aint too bad a figure for a semi.

We can’t win either way – that’s the way it is.We’re Wigan, bad press/feeling comes our way and we laugh it off.. surely you’re used to it by now?
